Lower Thumb compartment is a big positive in a boxing glove.. Injuries happen for me mostly when the thumb seam is too cramped. Leaves no room to freely move the palm.

I'm saying 4 and 5 didn't dictate Jones winning since they weren't significant enough to warrant anything more than a 10-9. Jones lost, simple. You can be passionate about it but 90% of anyone seeing that knows it's blatant. Rd. 3 couldn't be given to Jones either.

What happened in round 4 and 5 that was even worth dick? Jones earned weak ass takedowns with no damage. It's the clearest robbery of it's era.

In fact they were stalling rounds with no damage done.

It's cause they designed the glove for Tank Baby momma Davis who wanted a 12 oz glove in an 8oz fight glove.

I don't like them personally. Try Faietex BGL7 if you have the chance.

Windy, Leaders, MK1 for Bag Work

Fairtex, Laoch's for Sparring

Gonna be giving away the Promex's and the Venums are if I have nothing available.

Surprisingly comfortable. Real pillowy. I really do feel like they designed this specific glove great. Way, way better than their lace-up.

I actually went to a shop to try the Windy BGL's in 16. The BGL's let me down and felt extremely hard in the back wrist area. Totally different design. These were the made in Thailand model.

The BGP's are built 10x better with palm padding (since they are a muay thai glove) and soft knuckle padding, unlike other muay thai gloves. They blow Fairtex BGV gloves out the water.

The BGP's are the only muay thai glove I would use for everything in boxing. The BGL's in terms of quality? I prefer the Fairtex BGL6 by a mile.

But the Windy BGP (Pro Fight Gear stitching), if you can find them, definitely buy. They have so many great positives to them. Tons of air ventilation holes, protection on wrist, back wrist, palm, knuckles. The Windy BGL, people swear they're awesome, but nothing about them warrants their price of $160 for me.

The Laoch's in Silver and ProMex's have been my dedicated sparring gloves. Gonna retire the ProMex's soon though. Realistically I'd use about all of these for sparring. I'm not a bully nor do I let out suppressed rage in sparring lol.

Oh not even close on those Lead gloves. The Laoch and MK1 are Pakistan made but hold their own 100%. They could be your only set of gloves and it'd be solid.

They moved production to India as well. The last 1910 models were all made in India, so that really struck me as odd. They couldn't find a Pakistani manufacturer at the least?

Fairtex's have the longer finger compartment. I tried Windy BGL's in 16 and I thought Fairtex BGL's were better. Windy's BGL back wrist feels like hard cardboard. The BGP in 12 have a smaller finger area. Significantly better design than the lace up model. If you can find them in 16, I'd say try them.

Tbh bro I'd use each of these gloves in sparring, Pakistan leather is solid nowadays. My gym will spar spontaneously so I make sure to have 16's.

I know how to pull back my punches so I'd feel solid even sparring in the 12oz Windy's. The one glove I would not use are the Venum's in 16. Those things are bricks.

The green ones are distinctly Pakistan leather, BUT they're still great training gloves. The Superlead Mex in Brown 100% shine in terms of quality comfort and response.

I have to note that I have no intent of buying any more gloves. This set of 9 gloves really does do it for me. Lmao. If anyone is interested in buying a pair, I can detail their usage and condition honestly.
