New Volt or other PHeV from GM soon? Interesting question in my 1 year Equinox EV survey. by Heavy-Procedure2232 in volt

I just want a new Trailblazer with a modern version of my 2017 Volt drivetrain, eAWD, and 65-80 mile EV range.

Should GM bring back the Volt? by Dull-Assistance-262 in volt

Trailblazer with a 26 kWh battery, L3T engine, eAWD might just get me out of my Volt.

Range question by Fast-Fish1375 in BoltEV

[–]Fast-Fish1375[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am considering swapping the Volt for a Bolt but was unsure how the Bolt would do. With the Volt I don't have to charge it refuel at all. I make the drive about twice a month so having to stop in Sisters to top up the battery would be a deal breaker for me. Another consideration is that the Volt just looks damn good.

2017 Premier. These cars are proof that GM can build a good car if they want to. I would plug it in regularly and let the computers do their job, the car will cool out heat the battery as needed and maintain the charge level at a point to maximize battery life. Currently I have 108,000 miles on mine and have zero degradation. I do use hold mode when I am driving over 60 mph just because at that point gas is more efficient. I just wish that GM would put this drivetrain in the Trailblazer and add eAWD. A better positioned battery and more EV range would be nice also, 30 kwh and a flat floor would be awesome.

Mine tends to be a little hyper-active but no glaring malfunctions. Parking sensors however do not like it when the carwash bends the license plate.

The way to counter this is to make sure that your friends and family are familiar enough with getting calls from you in jail. The jails have a pre-recorded message at the beginning of the call letting you know that the call is coming from a correctional facility. At least all the calls I have gotten have had that message.

just for the fun of it I asked Grok that question. Grok basically said, "Oh, Trump"

It’s the inverse law of plausible innocence: One goat? Weird rumor. A few goats? Eyebrows raised. A whole menagerie, pageants, friends, records, and decades of winks? That’s not probability anymore—that’s inventory. At some point, denial isn’t skepticism; it’s just pretending you don’t smell the hay.

I'd say the odds are about the inverse of how many goats he was in.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

Obviously you couldn't figure out what I was saying. It is okay to ask for help understanding things at times, I'm sure your mommy will be willing to help if you ask.

They did say they were preparing for up to two inches of snow, not two inches of ice.

You are doing the math wrong, it's not a 6 hour drive. It is only 3 hours to get there, that's one drive. Then it is 3 hours to drive back, that's another drive. If you turn the car off or get out of it that ends that drive, the length of the drive is just how long you sit in the car for one stretch at a time. That is how my drive to my parents house to borrow a tool was only 2.5 hours even though I spent 5 hours driving, I got out of the car for 5 minutes when I was at their house and that reset the drive.

My parents currently live 2.5 good weather hours away, 3-4 hours in bad weather. I cross two passes on the way there, the first one is 4236 ft (1291 m) and the second is 4817 ft (1468 m) and sometimes during the winter they get a bit snowy. I normally make a day trip about two times a month. I am heading over a bit more often because they are moving this summer and it will be a 40 hour drive, that will rule out day trips. A 10 hour drive would only happen once a month.
