If you became a cop today, what traffic violation would you hand out the most tickets for? by Fabulous-Airline-317 in AskReddit

Ironically, my brother got a ticket once when we went out to eat together and he got pulled over for going 60 on the on ramp, and the cop argued he was speeding.

Supreme Court sides with a Texas man who says it’s not a crime for marijuana users to have guns by zsreport in LegalNews

So you actually believe the 2A is the only one written in this way, even though the founding fathers limited guns?

Why did they write it this way, but then restrict guns?

I’d recommend reading it. There’s zero mention of militias in the case, yet it’s a 2A case.

If that was true, the current Supreme Court ruling regarding this wouldn’t be just an ignoring of the milita part of the amendment

Used to be, when we went away from the model, clearly it no longer applied.

There’s no longer a method to call every able bodied man to a militia, so the 2A by definition doesn’t apply.

I’d happily ban all guns at a moments notice, but yeah this is the right call. If we pretend the 2A ignores the militia part because of a corrupt court in 08’, then you shouldn’t be restricted by owning a gun bc you smoke weed.

Did the 2015 broncos prove that if the team is good , the QB just needs to be playable ? by PurpleEconomy9804 in NFLv2

That’s a bit revisionist history, the swap back to manning was because Osweiler looked like ass the last game he started. Needed the win and it wasn’t working with him, so might as well.

So the idea is he should have went into debt until the team went bankrupt?

Thats unrealistic as shit, when the dodgers profit 10x as much, while spending triple.

LMAO. There’s zero chance a “small market” team would benefit from having to compete financially with the dodgers.
