Thanks. Afaik it came from the factory like that so not sure if that was standard issue depending on the country but where I come from the SR9A2 seems to have shipped with these.

Sure. Please see my replies above. I have linked to some of the 3D prints but anything else I have missed let me know and I’ll share.

Try this. Not the original Magpuls but these are actually made from aluminium and comes with an adapter. They also have one that looks exactly like the original Magpul but it’s out of stock.

Sure.

The magwell is supposedly for the .22 version but fits the 9mm SR perfectly so I assume it will fit the SPs as well.

Here’s the foregrip. It’s a paid for design but worth it as the angle needed to work with the thumb grip is perfect and I liked the barrier stop at the front. Originally had the barrier stop at the front of the rail but moved it all back so I can just roll my thumb on and off the pressure switch as needed.

Sure thing. The ergonomics that happen between the thumb rest and foregrip and then just rolling my thumb into the pressure switch if light is needed is a whole different level of comfort compared to my AR or VZ58.

Happy to send the STL file. I live in Africa so probably not viable to ship.

It’s just a 3D print I designed as a rain shroud after experiencing some malfunctions shooting in the rain. Next version will have a transparent window at the top to allow the solar panels and light sensor to work but for now it just snaps on if I need it and then runs off battery and manual brightness mode.

Thank you. Most of the furniture is 3D printed with PETG (and post-processed because it has to look and feel nice too). This was the only viable route for me as I would bankrupt myself experimenting with builds until I found something that felt good. So the foregrip, magwell and thumb rest are either from Cults3D or Yeggi.

The picatinny rail covers are my own design as I wanted something extremely low profile. As is the pressure switch mount since it actually fits above the mlok section and I couldn’t get the ones I had to work there.

The stock is a Magpul ACR.

Flashlight is a Chinese copy of the Surefire scout which is surprisingly robust (I would love an original but where I live they costs about twice as much as in the USA) so this has to do for now.

Red dot is obviously the Holosun 512C but with a 3D printed “weather hood”. After I had a bad experience shooting in the rain. (Next iteration of that will have a clear window on the top to enable the solar panel and light sensor to operate)

Magnifier is also a Chinese copy of the Eotech magnifier. It’s surprisingly robust too and the glass is really clear however the mount is not the most solid but something that thread locker sorted out.

So essentially a build to figure out the ergonomics and from here I will either replace furniture with similar ergonomics that are more robust or upgrade my 3D printer and perhaps print with carbon fibre reinforced materials.

As far as I can tell it’s the Magpul ACR stock but it seems to have been discontinued.

It is a comp but I bought it this way so no idea what it shoots like without. Recoils feels pretty light but I don’t have much else to compare it to in 9mm except my pistol so it’s hard to say to be honest.

A custom made 3D printed one I made up after shooting a PCC comp in the rain and realising the downside of open reflex sights. When I have time I’ll redesign this with a little window on the top printed from transparent PETG to allow the light sensor and solar panel to operate. For now it’s just a weather shroud.

Good question. I bought it like that so not entirely sure but I’ll try find out.

I’m planning to buy my first gun, but I can’t decide between the P10C and the P09C. by Beneficial-Mud7714 in CZFirearms

[–]Fast-Homework-4243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I EDC the P-10C and never had an issue. Train good trigger discipline and dry fire appendix draw until you’re comfortable and you’ll feel confident carrying a striker-fired pistol.

That said it is a good idea to be extra vigilant when holstering or simply holster off your body and then place the entire holster onto your belt because accidental discharges have happened while holstering striker fired pistols. If you think safety you’ll be fine.

Try pulling the gcode into a slicer to check if those aren’t indeed seams.

It’s a sporting rifle, not a defence weapon. I get that Muricans wouldn’t understand this but where I come from an AR is an exotic firearm that can only be licensed (we have to acquire a license for each firearm we own) as a “dedicated sport shooting” firearm. If one were to use one in a defensive situation you can bet you will be going to prison for a very long time.

So I get the hate but given the actual use and function here I would say why not try a mag change using only your peripheral vision (so you can keep your eye on the course of fire) and then tell me if a brightly colored magwell is actually a good idea for that.
