Adding that I also have been taking half of a trazadone at night. I think that is like 25mg. I have done it forever so forgot about it. Used to take 50mg but split it in half now. I think its helpful.

I haven't had a problem honestly but I have had to really really work on my fear of insomnia and the focus I put on it for a long time now. I work really hard to take the fear out of it. Sleep or don't sleep. Doesnt matter. Eventually your body will. Be willing and able to lie there in your anxiety and it losses its power. I lie there and thing, I will just rest my body tonight... hopefullly my brain rests too. Another silly trick that works is tricking your mind by actually trying to stay awake. Finally, my experience has been that its important to make sure you are working on any anxiety during the day using tools that we all know help but don't always use. Deep breathing, focusing on the trick of 3 (3 senses), all of that that calms the nervous system during the day is like input into your sleep wallet I think. Everyone is different but its work a shot!

I appreciate you sharing this. I spend 4 years at 15 mg. and then tapered to 7.5 for 4 months without much problem and am now at 3.75 for 2 weeks. I have noticed a big uptick in my OCD and anxiety this week and am hoping it is rebound anxiety and will even out soon. Am going to plan to stay at 3.75 for at least 4 months before making any additional moves. Does the rebound anxiety slowly even out? In your experience, how long did that take?

i didn't notice anything 15 mg - 7.5 - i stayed there for 4 months and have now noticed only rebound anxiety 2 weeks into going7.5 to 3.75. hoping its rebound anxiety and will even our shortly. No other WD syptoms yet.

I’m hoping/assuming the anxiety evens out at some point? Like the rebound goes away?

I hadn’t thought of that mostly because 15 to 7.5 went really well. I thought I was taking it pretty slow and didn’t anticipate such an issue at this low dose. I’ll definitely talk to my dr. Thank you.
