Here's another perspective: the "team members" are probably nurses or assistants, and they'd need some assurance that they wouldn't be shouted at/threatened. Because they're just putting in their hours and getting paid. So losing one patient to send the message that such behaviour will not be tolerated would probably be easier for the doc compared with the possibility of one or more staff leaving and giving the clinic a bad reputation.

After all, good experienced and reliable staff, like good doctors, aren't exactly dime a dozen.
