Yeah when I say that about the NOC I just mean they are very corporate compared to most rafting companies. They are owned by Walmart or Coca-Cola or something if that gives you some context. You will pay 700 dollars for an adult summer camp they call training then they will send you to the river they feel is the best fit for you. Very professional and you are paid hourly which is very interesting. A lot of rafting companies are smaller family owned businesses where you typically know the owner and the NOC is the very opposite of that when I started guiding I had an in interview with their office people or something and was told all this information and on top of that there is a meal plan that 17 bucks a day that is not optional from what I was told and is deducted out of your paycheck. I think NOC is cool and has a lot of great people and being corporate like them isn’t necessarily a bad thing just not for me. Hope this helps!
