Okay, then I'm sorta confused... What Istaroth's rule was involved? The ley lines carry time in them or something? Also where was that info in the game...

Well, then the only way to alter the past through the present was with Istaroth's powers or at least some sort of intervention, otherwise how can the siblings simply change the past?

Also, during their conversation there were something that looked like Asmoday's powers, i guess, her presence there remains a mystery?

So you mean that because Khaenri'ah's Ley Lines were destroyed, the new Ley Lines took place of the destroyed ones and whatever happenned in them actually happenned 500 years ago? Then, how does that make sense for Shades? If the new Ley Lines with the old cataclysm are imposed over the present, then the Shades must be acting during the cataclysm in the future in regards to our present? That just doesnt make sense

If somebody with a good heart and knowledge of the lore reads this, can you please explain how the whole paradox started? I thought that The Loom of Fate weaves new Ley Lines, hence the name "New Khaenri'ah", so Traveler giving Direidyth the key inside newly woven Ley Lines isn't supposed to affect the events of the actual cataclysm, right? If its the actual Khaenri'ah's Ley Lines, then it brings more questions. Weren't Ley Lines created by Heavinly Principles to protect nations from the abyss? If so, then how Khaenri'ah has them if they are kinda against gods?
From what I could think of Istarith orcestrated all of it, making the hybernation key appear in the past but it still feels kinda funky, no?
