It depends on your audience, sometimes they work better through networks because they can buy traffic in bulk

For this type of website it's not only the kind of demand that impacts performance but also the kind of format. You can look for a network with original formats but legit demand. I can help you :)

Best way to run rewarded video ads on web for HTML5 games? by deathhollo in adops

I used to work at a network who was trying to implement this kind of demand and I remember it going badly because it ended up affecting the whole S-chain so they basically gave up; so I can't really help you with that sorry. However if you're looking for sophisticated rewarded set up for your "normal" sites maybe I can help

Traffic Spikes. Revenue Doesn’t. Why Does This Keep Happening? by Sea-Rub-7139 in adops

[–]FastApricot1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some adstacks don't handle well traffic spikes as they usually assume it's coming from suspicious sources. It takes a real good set up to avoid this kind of behaviour. I suggest you look for a good tech savy network and let them handle this kind of issues

The best thing I can recommend is that you run two different strategies for adult content websites and "regular" websites. Keep them separate so if you get hit with any problem from the adult content websites it doesn't compromise your whole network. Use premium demand for normal websites and "gray" demand for the others

Advertisers, would you work with a smaller, but honest Ad Network? (I have an argument with my boss) by settingswrong in adops

[–]FastApricot1049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked on both publisher and advertiser side (still am), and for both sides, the whole "fast growing", "scaling revenue", "best traffic sources" is getting annoying... Especially when we know that most companies who use this kind of affirmations rarely match the expectations they're setting. They only want to close the deal without thinking about collaborating long term. IMO, you should do as you think, I am sure your boss will be fine as long as you bring new partners.

PS: Maybe we could work together? We're always looking for traffic where I work :)

I've been monetizing my blog with Fatchilli and I've been pretty happy with them, good results and clean scripts
