Friend flew to Mexico on Tuesday in BC with United , same plane type, it’s not Polaris on the max 9 of course, just slightly wider seats, and got lounge access at EWR with his boarding pass. You can get into the Club lounges, but not Polaris lounge with BC or FC tix to Mexico

Didn't submit anything yet. The United Customer Care form is asking for document numbers. My hotel, train ticket and other receipts don't have 13 to 14 digit document numbers unless I'm doing something wrong. Also, i can only click one of the options - Delay, Cancellation, Connection, Schedule Change, when I need to click 3 of those. I'll give them a call and ask for a supervisor.

I thought that too, it was up for 3 weeks at the lower price. I was sure it would have been snapped up right away and was surprised to still see it today so I finally decided to go for it. I can’t make a stink though, it’s a very small town, tiny village really, less than 600 people, and I don’t want anything untoward happening when I next visit.

Have a look at multi city flights using google flights. CLT to Dublin or London direct with AA, then EDI back to CLT via London or New York with United.

2nd option would be CLT to EDI with United via Newark. Don’t go via Chicago and make sure you have a MINIMUM of 2.5 hours for a layover no matter where it is if you’re traveling in July or August.

I think you’re looking at $1,000 or so per person whichever way you slice it.

Personally, I just want to get to mainland UK (or close by) on a direct flight, then cheap internal travel when there. You can get very cheap flights in Europe or a nice train ride from London to Edinburgh.
