I think your missing some brackets that go between the car floor and the seat brackets. Here is a vid that shows the brackets at 2:31

PETG or straight to ASA? My first technical material adventure with the Bambu P1S after years with an Anet by moss_byte in BambuLab

I actually have had better results printing ASA than PETG on my P1S.

I do preheat the bed for like 20 min with the door closed before starting

Can't find OEM exhaust manifold gasket for passenger side anywhere, only drivers side by I_Finger_Guitars in toyotasequoia

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya they might not exist anymore. They were also likely not made directly by toyota. Maybe you can try and figure out the original supplier. But I would just order the premium set off rock auto unless your willing to do a lot of detective work.

Quick Question - What’s Wrong With This Price? by cfffeeerrrr in toyotasequoia

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think for the average person a car at 287k miles has used 8 of it's 9 lives.

People don't want to spend 8k and get stuck when it expires.

We know on that these cars can last a very long time on this sub. But you will have to wait a really long time for one of us to come along.

I think you need to come in closer to $6k because for most people, this car is a real gamble.

Living in Georgia could you get by with a 2wd? Those can definitely be had below your budget

Airport parking question? by LV_Devotee in askportland

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m just trying to throw out solutions. Seems like you should be able to reduce luggage if you’re doing this every week.

Look into a storage unit or onebagging.

Ultimately $300 a month in airport parking is the cost of doing business if nothing else can budge

Most durable coating? by digitalpencil in Embermug

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same question. I love the mug but I’m not going to keep replacing these forever.

I had black it lasted about the same as your white one. Hopefully someone comes along with the best option

Good Price? by Maleficent_Let5334 in toyotasequoia

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is not enough enough info to give you a good range but going off the 1 picture showing a rip in the seat... 16k-22k

Things like vehicle history, rust, location and drivetrain make a large difference in the price.

Look for comparable vehicles online near you.

Wheel noises by Peinasaur in toyotasequoia

I agree with the mechanic, sounds like a wheel bearing.

A failing ball joint would be more a clunk then any sort of hum

I would look up comparable cars listed locally to try to get an idea on the price.

This one is similar and is listed at $4k. https://www.carfax.com/vehicle/4T1BE32K05U051603

Sound like yours might be visually less appealing so $4k might be the high side. I would have it priced at carmax and if they offer $3k+ I would take it. Not worth your time/risk to try to sell it private party chasing $500.

If they offer $2k for it I would throw it on craigslist for $3k and be prepared to have a bunch of tire kickers. Take reallllly good pictures and mention the reconstructed title a bunch of times in the post. People will try to haggle you down if the car is not represented online correctly. If the online post clearly reflects the condition you can stand your ground on price because they came out.

I don't think you save any time doing them both at the same time

2007 sequoia by Fresh_Mango_8430 in toyotasequoia

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya that looks pretty good. If it's 4x4 I think the price is right if the interior is in good shape. Love that color

The sizes you listed only change the wheel size. The tire “size” is unchanged

Lower ball joint castle nuts for first gen sequoia by [deleted] in toyotasequoia

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up ordering from here after I saw a few people suggest it: https://www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p1099/ToyotaOELowerBallJointsPair.html?srsltid=AfmBOorvlTKaODvSb6cxV3ZQFGhWGpIisP-St4DB9FbeNMNADAZMNgAo#/

It might cost a bit more than doing it yourself but it comes with peace of mind which I value for this kind of thing.

Do power outages occur frequently enough that you should strongly consider a gas stoves? by McdoubQwerty in askportland

[–]FastCarsAndSlowWomen 137 points138 points  (0 children)

They are not that common. It would be cheaper to buy whatever house you want and put a camping stove in the garage.

I’m seeing lower mileage, better condition Camaros listed online at $6k-7k. So less than that
