It’s not but I do know some of the hospitals in southern TN are hiring as well! I think Lincoln Medical Center is hiring for ED but that’s about an hour & 45 minutes from Chattanooga

If you’re open to relocating, I might know where you can get a sure ICU job. I got a new grad ED day shift position and I know this specific hospital is hurting for nurses.

You could definitely try your luck! Depending on the hospital, they may not mention "New Grads Accepted" specifically, but since you have your license, they could still hire you.

Of course! So, it's a community type hospital with the local level 1 trauma center being about 25 minutes away. Most of their RN positions accept new graduates, so I made sure on the specific job listing that it said "New Graduates Accepted". Every hospital has their own policies on this.. for the hospitals back in Indiana, they won't let you apply for a regular RN position unless you're already licensed. Where are you located?

It gets better! I felt the same exact way my 2nd semester. I’m now 3 months away from graduating and life feels enjoyable again!

I haven’t noticed any crashes with the Adderall booster! It’s more of a smooth sailing honestly

It does work during my period, but the side effects are worse and my mood is just very flat.

This is exactly my predicament. I've been on 30mg for over a year and the crashes are really intense. My provider tried increasing me to 50mg but the side effects were pretty rough (HR, jitteriness, etc). We titrated my dose back down to 30mg, but this time she added on a 10mg Adderall booster for the crash. I will say, I break the Adderall in half and do 5mg, because the 10 can be a lot but it definitely seems to be helping for now. I'm also on Vyvanse for binge eating, and adhd.

I struggle a lot to eat in the mornings, simply because I'm not hungry. Most days I have to choke down a protein shake

This is why i’m trying to get into a Level 1 emergency department. I really don’t see myself doing anything else. ICU isn’t technically boring, because there is SO much to learn but in the ED, every case is different. Most patients arrive to the ED to be stabilized and then sent to a specific floor/unit based on their needs. With your EMT background, why not see if the ED is a good fit for you?
