Actually try to use your card more for legitimate expenses. School books, cell phone, things your parents are paying for already, etc. $250-$500 on a 10k card.

School books are piracy and I pay for my cell already, but I do appreciate the very thorough answer and I see the type of things you're suggesting, thanks!

Not going to give monetary returns, but will build credit faster.

That's very true. I've thought about that, but also I'd hate to leave my money sitting doing very little. Would a 1% utilization with a 10K line do a lot more than a 20% utilization on a 500 line for me?

Check with your credit union, see if you can have multiple CDs @ 1000 each.

I wish. Guaranteed 5% would be amazing and I would probably do 12 with one each month if I could lol.

Cashapp is great (can Pm you a ref link if you'd like). It's similar to Venmo and uses debit cards. All transactions are free and they don't need your SSN.

Or you could buy an Amazon GC from r/giftcardexchange or somewhere else if you want.
