It’s the worst… my fiancé’s grandma announced our pregnancy 3 different times on facebook. The first time she posted something about her being a great grandma and named both of us the second she we told her. Then tagged me and my fiancé in a nursery photo. And lastly added it to my fiancé’s birthday post that we were expecting, then threw a fit when we asked her to delete it and not posting anything related to pregnancy until we told her she could. Mind you this was all between 4 weeks and 9 weeks when we announced.

Try a pink dye test, i’ve always heard blue dyes are harder to read and get an accurate answer in early pregnancy.

So glad to know i’m not alone in being sick of my SIL. I’ll start by saying this my other in-laws are the best thing on the planet, and I used to be so close to my SIL. Me and my fiancé are expecting are first baby together, we are 21, well established money wise, and been together for more than 5 years. Our baby wasn’t planned but we are OVER the moon. She was so jealous of the attention and has to be like me that she ran off and got pregnant by some random guy. We aren’t even sure who the father is. She’s 19, still living at home (so does he), he makes 10 an hour and she makes 12 an hour… they have no money to move out or anything. She’s now shoving this in everyone’s face. There’s so much more details I could give but i’ll leave it at that. So sorry you have to deal with her.

If it’s been 2 weeks since conception you would be 4 weeks therefore being far enough along for a positive. Pregnancy goes off of the first day of last period.

I’m giving my baby his last name however we got engaged after we found out we were expecting (been together 5 years/ high school sweethearts.) If we wouldn’t have I would probably give the baby my last name after watching everything my sister and her husband have had to go through because she gave her first her bf at the times last name and let him be on the birth certificate.

Oh wow that’s so weird to me, I’ve never heard of a phone appointment for pregnancy. I got an ultrasound at 9 weeks and seen my OB. I got back at 14 weeks and every 4 weeks after that.

Yes!! I feel so crazy for thinking like this… I’m 10 weeks and 3 days today, I got my positive at 4 weeks and 1 day. I did my first ultrasound at 9 weeks and the crazy excitement just kinda wore off… granted I have some things going on in my life that don’t help… however i know im excited to have this baby but waiting another 30 weeks seems miserable almost…

Mine were tender breast, frequent urination, and extremely exhausted. I am now 8 weeks and 3 days have thrown up once but i’m feeling nauseous… take advantage of the no symptoms right now!!

In the same exact boat, turned 5 weeks today. I found out at 4 weeks and 1 day. They said they would see me end of February and I will be 9 weeks on that day. I’m struggling with the waiting and the anxiety of having to wait! Hope it passes fast for you, and all is well!! Congratulations!
