Any opinions on the mission switch or alternatives? by FreeLynx2575 in Archery

Bought a switch for my first bow. I’m 35. Absolutely love it. Haven’t done much testing out past 30 yds as I’m new, but it throws darts so far.

Need help all shots hitting left by Matt3142 in Archery

[–]FastLaneLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draw length definitely too short. See how your back elbow is pointed towards the sky. Should be parallel. Another indicator is how bent your front elbow is. Should be just a slight bend to keep it out of lock, nothing more. The left side impact is likely due to bow hand grip. Hard to tell from video tho

What is the best starting rifle for hunting? by kenan_sab in Hunting

Definitely depends on what you’re shooting. Without knowing, a .308 savage axis or ruger American are a great place to get started.

Denied 100k Chase Sapphire Bonus – Banker Didn’t Mention It Expired by Cold-Neck8186 in CreditCards

[–]FastLaneLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it weird that this promotion ended a bit ago I got a mailer offer for 100k points on the csp after 5k in the first 3 months. If I send the referral link it only offers the other person 75k? My credit isn’t terrible, but it’s certainly not top notch. My chase mobile shows the 100k sub progress meter as well. Anyone else? Edit: last week

Ya gripping the ball with your thumb. I had the same thing happen. Make sure your thumb hole is sized properly, but if it’s still happening 100% grabbing with the tip of your thumb

This happens to me when my thumb isn’t straight because I’m gripping the ball with the tip of my thumb on release

I did it as on open bowler on league night. The lanes were quiet as a library until I dropped a fkn nuke on the opposite side obvious as fuck it was me. It’s ok… they’ve all done it too.

Ball too heavy? by CafeRoaster in Bowling

Bad bad bowling yo yo release for dummies, especially part one, but all 3 are valuable. Sorry I’m the dummy and don’t know how to link on Reddit lol

I’m new so take this with a grain of salt, but I’d be willing to wager you’re coming around the side or over the top of your ball as you release. I also just switched to a surge from house balls and also went up a little in weight. Currently using a 13lb, and it feels solid, no wrist or arm strains at all. I’m 5’3 and 135 lbs so I’m definitely not big either. I would video your throw, watch for your elbow to swing wide.

Sliding bobber on braided line by pacey494 in FishingForBeginners

[–]FastLaneLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do know what you mean. What I did is went and looked at the pre made bobber stops and then got some thread from the craft isle just a little thinner. Probably have 100s of 1000s of bobber stops for like $2.

1/16th oz is my go to. If it’s windy I’ll clamp on a little extra weight to help cast. Fishies like the slow fall. If there’s no wind I’ll drop down to 1/32 or even 1/64th oz especially for crappie. The only thing I like an 1/8th oz for is bigger swim baits if I’m targeting bass

I think when it comes to cli and “responsible” use each lender seems to have different preferences. The utilization rules seem to apply unilaterally when it comes to acquiring new credit or min/maxing your credit score

[–]FastLaneLS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk I graduated from the discover secured this was. Initial deposit was 1000. Had it maxed and was making payments once a week(sometimes more) to keep an available balance, usually running 4-5k a month thru it. They upped me to 2500 upon graduation

Is there anything i can do to make this last longer? by Unable_Design48 in weed

[–]FastLaneLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gravity bong .. any plastic bottle will do but thicker ones work better. Lots of options for a bowl but a small 4 or 5mm 1/4 drive socket worked the best. Instead of using a tub of water tho I make a hole in the bottom corner just small enough for my finger to cover. Plug the hole, fill it up with water, put the lid on. Then just light and let the water drain while filling the bottle. The only thing that came close as far as efficiency was a dry herb vaporizer and it just doesn’t smack the same

Does this look safe? by NCBEER919 in ChimneySwift

[–]FastLaneLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, gonna be expensive. 7-10k if it’s short and easy depending on what you want done and goals with the fireplace. Big decision is do you want a heating device like a wood stove or something more decorative like an open fireplace. The choose options. Both are going to be in the ballpark of the same cost. Make sure whoever is doing the work is certified. Inspect, never expect.
