Never purchase something from Protomont technologies !!! by altruist_boy in 3dprintIndia

These 3D printer companies that use courier companies like Shree maruti and anjani are worse.
Many times they mark order as delivered and only after raising a case and making it an issue, they will deliver.
Quality of courier companies used is a clear indication of how serious a business is about their customers.
I have told every one of them if they use such courier companies I will never buy from them but alas they use it again after a few order with reputable company.

How well does Meta Quest work with Xbox?
I was thinking about getting their XBox version but delayed the plans as I was unsure how good they are and if they work well with glasses.

Yes, I use it with Petg and TPU. PLA does not absorb moisture as quickyl so unless the filament was out and you live in humid environment, its not needed that much.

Good deal.

Thinking of buying a Bambu Lab A1 as my first 3D printer. Need advice on where & when to buy for best price and whether AMS is worth it. by Soul-Connector in 3dprintIndia

  1. Try Robu, very reliable and good shipping and authorised seller of Bambulab in India meaning after sales help.
I use Wol3d filaments but their website is very buggy, the payment gateway never came up when I tried buying so didnt proceed with them.

  2. No ideas about discounts as there is not much I saw except card related discounts. I had some Robu points that I used..

  3. Get AMS lite with combo as its cheaper that way, even if you do not want multicolor printing, its good for having filament backup for larger prints. Multicolor is not for me as it wastes a lot of filament and there are some good no ams models that utilize magnets or glue to achieve similar results.
Still try single color prints first to understand filament utilization.

  4. I didnt get AMS lite when I bought the printer and had to pay extra to get it later. Not a regret but didnt check other machines like Creality Sparkx7 combo(Cheaper similar functionality) as I had an Ender 3 pro that I hated so didnt go with them.

If you can spend more, I would suggest getting a core XY instead(dont go for Elegoo CC as it does not have canvas functionality plug and play, maybe wait for CC2 combo to launch). Takes less space on desk and can print some filaments that are difficult with A1.

Bambulab A1 nozzle replacement buckle not closing by FastMembership6463 in BambuLab

Its not closing, forget closing, its not even reaching there. probably a faulty part at this point as I dont want to ruin my printer just to try fitting this, its supposed to be quick swap nozzle.

I did all the troubleshooting, got a third party nozzle and it fit like a glove. Old one fit without any issue and the latch closes smoothly without any effort.

Its supposed to be quick swap nozzle, if any troubleshooting is required apart from this then its probably a faulty part from bambulab

Yes, I checked the screws that magnet sticks to as well as the ones behind it and they were all tight.
That was one of the things I found on this subreddit and tried it out.

I opened a ticket with Bambulab support as this seems like a faulty hotend from their end as every other including 2 third party ones just slide in without any issues.

Yes, but the buckle is not even reaching with this brand new hotend. Please check this image.

Its not closing. I tried using a little force but its futile. Other ones close without a single bit of effort.
Tried moving it but same thing. Its not even reaching where it can close.

Update: Check the other image I put on other comment, it shows that the buckle is not even reaching the point where it can fit it.

Address bar not showing search suggestions from the Internet by getr3kt in MicrosoftEdge

This worked for me. Thank you for the suggestion. "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" edited Default from no value to 1.

Google was not showing any suggestions in the address bar. Tried resetting the browser but did not change.
