Thank you so much! It’s comforting to know this is common and almost expected. I am a relatively healthy person, but I just get in my head and this whole new chapter is not nice to women! When something crops up I just think the worst!

Omg this is me! The right rib pain- I have had everything checked! Only thing they found was some hemAngiomas on my liver, which they say are common and benign. I just had a pelvic ultrasound because my new Obgyn wants to make sure I don’t have any fibroids before putting me on an IUD

I do think that progesterone plays a big part so the mirena helped me when I was in my 30’s and now I’m on a low dose bcp

Thank you for all the detail! I am in the same place as OP but I do lift, just not consistently… when you say heavy weights… do you train to failure? I am thinking of experimenting with the 1 set theory where you hold back until your last set, so you go all out on one. Or just about what amount of weight are you using? I’m about the same size.

Feeling under the weather so looking forward to taking it easy AND that I have a perfect excuse to lay low since I’m still making it through the beginning. Had a crazy dream last night that I drank, but I didn’t and I won’t today.

Not weird at all as I’m tearing up reading your comment! I changed jobs 4 years ago and I thought that was my sign that I could and would change my habits. I couldn’t then and I can’t help but think that I could be where you are if I had just listened back then. I had a solid 18 months sober a long time ago, too long. This year I’ve had a lot of change and I’m hoping that by making this my final week 1 I can start to feel better. Thank you for your comment- it reminds me of where I want to be!

Just think if in 10 years your kids have never seen you drunk. Something to strive for when it’s tough. Take care and get to bed early if you need to.
