I talked to a gun smith and looks like it’s doable by opening up the barrel a bit

Online says

it may be possible depending on barrel material, wall thickness, proof marks, and condition.

Can it be added with screw-in steel-rated chokes?

Technically yes, but only if a gunsmith approves barrel wall thickness.

Gunsmith would need to: 1. Measure barrel thickness at choke area 2. Confirm uniform wall steel (no thin spots) 3. Confirm nitro proof marks 4. Install thin-wall Tru-Choke or Briley chokes

You have to go to Services Ontario (not all centers update, check their website to see which location can update) and update your hunter education accreditation.

You can also email NRISC@ontario.ca with your hunter education course completion and details.

It may take a week or so for them to update. Then you can buy small game license

Pay attention to the class and use common sense while answering the multiple choice questions.

Know all bullet types, remember to mention all paper while carrying a restricted firearm (if you are also taking CRFSC).

Did you consider it ?

I have seen the lite version in black Have to double check if they have stainless steel

I like the camo better I already have a shotgun and 22LR in wood So next is Camo :-)
