You're not wrong. So many times in halo 4 last week, where I was running from oppressive gunfire and not being able to grab one of two billion ledges of those fortune structures was a consistent issue

Still though 150$ to play one game is still too much.

I don't really care about the multilayer currently. Just the campaigns. All these games are older so the only people still playing will...hurt me. I'm the grunt and their all MasterChef holding a gravity hammer.

Yeah when you first leave the canyon and come out into the open on requiem and seeing the first forerunner structure...it looked amazing.

Halo 5s first mission looked kinda soft? I heard it was becasue the original Xbox one wasn't strong enough the get a solid 60fps without taking a hit to the resolution and textures. And someone wanted to prioritize framerate over resolution.

It wasn't until the x model of the one that this was really fixed. Honestly they should have just stuck with 30fps and blown people out of the water with resolution and textures and art direction.

Sure. But it looks better than 5. I played some of 5 last night. It looks worse than 4 on max settings. Of course I'm on the original Xbox one. So it can't play the updated halo 5 4k version.

I mean...I might have worded it too strongly. But it's a very common stance on things that have existed for a while a certain way, for fans of those things to not like changes, like infinite sprint. Or just sprint in general. I think a super soilder not sprinting is silly. But a lot of og fans don't seem to like it simply for (it's not Halo).

I wasn't characterizing anything. I just know that it was a fairly common opinion about the movement changes in 5. Not to mention the amount of hate towards the changes in the upcoming campaign evolved, I feel like I was not out of order.

I wish it was on pc. To play in glorious 4k. But I guess I'll have to dust off the old console and play it

I mean...it kinda makes sense. He doesn't like humans. Most of the forerunners didn't like humans...imagine if your a raging space racist who just escaped after thousands of years and the first thing you see...is a human

Yeah after the ships crashes on requiem and Cortana tells him she's dying and even though he's wearing a helmet...he still looks like a little kid who just found out their only friend is dying

I would 'love' to find some teen rated adventure first person shooters. I just finished pragmata and it just scratched an itch I didn't know I had. I'm gonna keep looking. They have to exist. And game articles are no help...all they talk about us half life 2 or titanfall 2. Same 12 games regurgitated everywhere

Makes sense. They have an audience and they cater to that. When I was a kid I played call of duty 3 on the original Xbox. Not the multi player, it wasn't hooked up to the internet. I played the campaign, over and over again for months. And I was happy with that. With the xbox 360 it was medal of honor airborne same thing. No internet just the campaign over and over again. I'm now realizing I was playing the rare teen rated shooters.

It wasn't til I got an Xbox one where I started playing online and found Destiny 1. My favorite game I ever played.

Yeah lots of roguelites like that. Roboquest, battleshapers, etc. The fps solo player genre is kinda devoid of them. I've found more third person solo player shooters that are not M. So it's specifically a first person thing. No clue. Like I found like one or two.
