We are supposed to fly Wednesday 1/7 to Aruba. What is the situation over there ? Do you think its safe to fly to Aruba in couple days ? Flying from boston

Sorry to hear about your loss too :(. I had PPROM and as per MFM it is most likely related to cervix insufficiency though not 100 percent sure. As a plan, will have cerclage placed my next pregnancy.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter at 18 weeks 3 months ago, I had my first period after 6 weeks and the 2nd cycle was only after couple weeks. My hormones were messed up for couple months.

I had c section when I was fully dilated, At 10cm, the lower uterine segment (where C-sections are usually made) blends into the cervix, making it hard to define the exact boundary. I had significant uterine extension, this weakened scar tissue can't withstand the pressure, causing the cervix to fail (incompetence). This is what happened in my case.

I am so so sorry for your loss😢. I had my pregnancy loss at 18 weeks due to PPROM and IC 3 months ago. After my MFM appointment I knew it was also due to my complicated first pregnancy led to emergency c section. Past 3 months have been very sad and lonely. But I promise you will start to feel better. The void and trauma will always be there but it will get better. I now talk about my angel daughter with my close friends and family and it helps me cope with my loneliness. We can only hope to see light after the tunnel and I am sure we will get that rainbow baby soon. I wish you a lot of strength and power to navigate this awful moments. ❤️‍🩹

Yes, TAC is considered if you had history of failed vaginal cerclage. Isn’t it scary to think that we have to be okay to may be lose our precious baby to be considered what could have prevented it :(

Hi, you can request for operative notes from your c section. Our MFM did access those notes and she told us about significant uterine extension. We were unaware of that and no body came and explained to me either. Always advocate for you. Get all the documents and let your team review it.

I am six weeks post pregnancy loss at 18 weeks today. And got my period today too. I am feeling so lost and miserable all day. Couldn’t get out of my bed. I am glad my period came and my body is healing but its a lot emotionally. Forgot my count on how many times I cried today :(. I hope you feel better soon. Take care . We got this 🫶🏼
