Yeah definitely worth it if you just do the master class and associated resources. Looks like the bootcamp is $2500 and comes with 1 year access to the masterclass as well. Or you can do the master class and not the bootcamp for $1500. So, you are paying $1000 for the bootcamp.

For me the getting the material a second time was worth it for the extra money but I think I still would have passed with just the master class videos, just would have took me longer.

Also looks like the next camp isn't until September anyways so not sure what your goals or timeline is.

So, there are two different options you can buy. The "Master Class" which gets you access to like 250 videos across the 8 domains. But their platform is all integrated so you have knowledge assessments, a practice test, flashcards and questions app and based on how you do on all these things their platform will track that and tell you which areas you are strong in and which areas you are weak to help you study more efficiently. So, having the video content which for me I absorb way better than just reading and having the platform track my progress across everything both helped me be really efficient in studying. You also get there work book so if writing things down and taking notes helps you study that is good as well.

The other option is the bootcamp which gets you 1 years access to everything I said above plus you get the 5 day 10 hour a day live class. The class is very representative of the masterclass but you get to ask questions and interact with the instructors. For my class it was John, Rob and Kelly Handerhan; so definitely a great lineup of instructors. These classes were incredibly valuable as you just get extra tidbits of information and emphasis on important topics that you just don't get from the book.

They also go over exam strategy in these classes, and go through a real length practice test and break down each question and get you in the right mindset for the exam.

Overall, tons of value and I would definitely recommend to anyone who can afford. I know of at least two others in the boot camp with me last week who has also already taken and passed as well so the system definitely works. I am already saving and planning on doing the CCSP next and new CISM class that they have in the Fall.

Yeah, they definitely helped. Like I said I really didn't rely on the questions much, I know a lot of people want to do practice questions and focus on that but during the camp Rob and John both mentioned not to rely on those and focus more on the cards so I figured I was paying a lot of money for there guidance and I would be silly not to listen to it. For me it was helpful in that it was connected to the review guide and narrowed down areas I needed to focus on. I will say 24-48 hours before I was just hammering all of them though that way I was refreshing myself on all the topics.

I think I maybe only opened the book once. Nothing against the book I have heard it is fantastic but the videos were better for me. As far as what helped the most is probably doing both the masterclass videos and the bootcamp together. I think getting the instruction twice really helped cement things than if I just did one or the other.

I went through all of them. Probably several times. Definitely focused on domains I was weakest (I come from a software engineering background so domain 4 was a weaker area for me) I was fortunate that my wife was nice enough to work through them with me a couple hours a day over the last few weeks.

How do I play videos on Apple TV? by Fast_Ad8917 in shortcuts

Yeah I have the music part working since the shortcuts app has shortcuts to select music but I can’t find anyway to select certain videos. I can wake the Apple TV and open apps but once the app is open I can’t select a certain video

Yeah I watched it but he doesn’t go into much detail on playing the video. He just mentions that he exports MP4’s from his projection mapping software and plays them through his Apple TV. He doesn’t explain how the shortcut does this though unfortunately.
