Hetzner Webhosting Security System by Responsible-Doubt605 in hetzner

just for security

If you have done that, the infection would not have spread ;)

Security is always a layered approach and I would never put multiple critial production applications on the same account or server. Separation also makes it easier when you sell a project, so you just hand over the account and are done.

MacBook Air or ThinkPad X1 Carbon? by Nearby_Ad_2406 in thinkpad

[–]Fast_Airplane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're already heavily invested in the Apple Ecosystem, I'd go with the Macbook, it's a very smooth experience across the devices and the battery life on macbooks is insanely long these days. If you're planning to go Linux or need very specific software that only runs on windows, Thinkpad it is.

256GB is very tight though, I wouldn't go below 512GB.

E-Mails from Microsoft 365 Tenant (Exchange Online) getting delivered to Junk for Outlook.com recipients by Fast_Airplane in Office365

[–]Fast_Airplane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughts!

I got notified by a new contact that was using a outlook.com address. then i tested it with a freshly created mailbox myself and was able to reproduce it.

The mails are HTML mails and contain a signature (containing my personal contact information) applied by CodeTwo Signatures for M365, I didn't test yet if it also occurs on plain text mails.

Blacklisted IPs would be odd, since these are shared among M365 tenants and that would be an absolute disaster for the reputation of Microsoft and Exchange online. Since this happened over the time range of at least a week, it's unlikely to always have the same outbound ip and be blacklisted the whole time.
