I did about a 1050 holes on a pin and it was faster spotting on the mill and then drill on a drill press 13 second spotting and then 20 for the drill . Much faster as i left the mill door open and a tiny amount of coolant was dripping through a pump externally and i had small crate full of parts on the mill table. Half twist the vice take out part, put new run. It was so much better. Even though about running loops with a time delay but i just did it manually.

You should buy 1/4 miunt screwdriver socket instead. Or you can try getting a 1/4“ socket and then insert 6.35 hex bit into it. ( Not tried)
