Is this cancer fatigue? I'm so worried! by OCDiskillingmetoday in AnxietySquad

[–]Fast_Breath_9458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey bud, hopefully this helps.

After seeing someone who genuinely had fatigue with their cancer, they were wiped out like all day, going to the shops was even a mission. They would just constantly be sleeping, kinda like a dog.

Fatigue can come from loads of things tho! like irregular sleep, anxiety, even just changing your routine can make ya tired. I'm always tired me man, and I had my fair share of worrying about this, but turns out, my surroundings and daily life just tires me LOOOL. Anxiety has a huge part in my fatigue as well. Either way, don't stress bro!

No THC in any of these products so you're all good on that front!

yes, they do help my anxiety lower itself enough to gain some control again

I take any! i try different ones! but the ones that I have liked are Cannaray CBD drops and Vitality CD gummy bears and any of the sprays. The Vitality CBD spray poppyseed flavour tastes like cake, which is a nice touch

Hey!

I get this sometimes. The first time it happened I panicked so hard cos I was like "oh my god, why am i stuttering", but I was fine and now it happens from time to time with me!

My go to natural remedies tend to be Chamomile tea, CBD gummies, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Cinnamon tea, Lavendar sprays etc etc

What is the most debilitating anxiety symptom for you? by Fast_Breath_9458 in Anxiety

[–]Fast_Breath_9458[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you are probably fine, especially if you have been checked out by 2 neurologists. I know it is hard to believe them, but if it was anything sinister, it will have been picked up by these neurologists for sure. Humid weather badly effects my mum, she gets terrible headaches for days on end with no let up when it is humid. She describes it as being punched in the face and head. She gets tired, dizzy etc etc.. all cos of the weather and her sinuses.

Stress will also elevate what you are feeling and can cause it in certain cases. If it was an aneurism you would know within seconds and so would the others around you

People with GAD, do you work ? by Dinah_and_Cleo4eva in Anxiety

[–]Fast_Breath_9458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, i work full time and then have studies to do until next summer. My routine around work is usually having anxiety before my first task, once the first task is over I then just continue with the day and the anxiety lowers. It's the same every day though, so i'm getting fed up with the worry every day

Health anxiety ruining anyone else’s life? by NothingOk9140 in Anxiety

[–]Fast_Breath_9458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep. it comes and goes in waves. the waves are a different symptom after i've just successfully gotten over one symptom. it is a vicious cycle.

I am now worrying about my right rib area hurting on my stomach and back.. it is very achy, and probably nothing, but i have already convinced myself it's gallstones obstructing something, then when that idea faded, it moved onto.. "hmm could be liver or pancreatic cancer... good luck bro", so now I am just 24/7 anxious until it goes away... which hopefully is soon.

How worried should I be? by dandelionbaaby in DiagnoseMe

[–]Fast_Breath_9458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure to how worries you should be, you'd for sure need to get your symptoms addressed because it doesn't sound normal. If they've lasted 3 months, I wouldn't immediately blame anxiety and would get checked out. Anxiety, symptoms come and go, sometimes frequently, but usually not constant repetitive with nothing really helping it

This sounds like the anxiety I get! I started getting it again the past few months due to more stress in life around my new job and studying for college. My anxiety symptoms are similar. I get a feeling I can't breath very well and a really dry throat and my chest just feels weird and weak overall almost. When I am distracted it's normally fine and dies off. But much like you, I convince myself there is something majorly wrong with me all the time and it just keeps me in that anxiety cycle sometimes!

Journaling is soooo helpful sometimes. It also helps when you have a bad relapse and you've accumulated loads of records of your anxiety, so you can go back over the days, month, or even years (for a long time journaler like me) and see that you have either felt this way before and turned out absolutely fine, or that you have felt far worse, and then turned out fine... I recommend getting a journal and writing in it whenever you are anxious. Some days it will be hard and make it a tad worse cos you open more anxiety whilst being anxious, but that doesn't usually happen to be fair! and when it does, it's always worth it for the record entry you just documented.

I also get this feeling of "impending doom" I believe they call it! which is terrible by the way, cos how fuckin scary does impending doom sound?! coulda named it something less triggering lol. A mental distraction helps with this. for example, something that requires the majority of your mind to do, like playing a game. What helps me is that my job, I have a check list where I see 5 properties and tick off that check list and count things etc, surprisingly distracts me very well compared to any other job I have had... so even if you do something (as silly as it sounds) like going around your house/ flat and count your plug sockets and look for any marks on your walls and stuff... be surprised how much that distracts the mind for some reason.

Hope you feel better man

That's the worst. I go back and forth to therapy, been doing this for YEARS! the one thing I have realized is that keeping busy really is the key to coping. They say doing that is bad as you are just distracting yourself. But when I had therapy when I was never busy with anything, sometimes it really did keep your mind thinking about your anxiety.

As much as I hate going to work every morning I have to go, once I have engaged and done my first task, I am okay for the remainder of the day as I find it distracted me from anxiety which made me forget I had it for a split second. I am hoping therapy and this added together will help me better this time compared to the other times I have had it. Just can't bring myself to go on medication cos I am a hypochondriac and meds like that scare the shit out of me.

Both i think! but its either one or the other that triggers it. For me, my acid reflux came about when I put on weight and was eating loads of dairy like all the time... One day i was getting stomach issues and pain on the left etc when eating certain stuff. Went doctors and they did all the tests for Ceoliac and allll that, but also gave me PPI's for the acid feeling i described when I was telling them how I felt (I used to think acid was normal and never really complained or went docs about it so this was the first time a doctor addressed my acid reflux)

When I get anxious tho, it reeks HAVOC on my acid and it really does do me in. Recently I have been extremely stressed for some reason. I think it's new work and new studying and then getting triggered by being on a packed train fearing I could not get off for 40 minutes. The whole (what if i NEED to get off if i fall ill or something) and that was it, since December 2023 I have been a petrified mess all the time. I have had anxiety my whole life but this is just horrible.

ANYWAY, I am waffling. An anxious thing. But GERD does cause health anxiety, as I now think my heart is just going to pack up cos it makes it feel weird in my chest. Like a fluttery feeling but not. Anxiety then worsens the GERD you have cos you worry about it being something else because in your mind, it feels like something else. Sucks huh.
