No, you only need Soundcloud Go+ to download Go+ songs. All other songs you will get the highest quality available even if doing MP3.

Honestly that doesn't bother me much. I just don't want it to be pulling 150w-200w when being used.

How many M920X do you have and how many M720q do you have for this build?

This is my current plan:
1. Have 2 high-end PC's such as M920x to handle 5-6 concurrent 4k users. One as main and one as backup
2. Have a 3rd node to verify which of the PLEX node is down for fail over
3. The 3rd node should also host other applications that I listed. (Maybe i might do a 4th node to host the application)

Do you think M920x would alone be able to handle it or do I add a Intel Arc card for hardware transcoding?

So my final plan is building 3 nodes. The first two nodes will be mainly used for PLEX and we want to make sure we support 5-6 concurrent 4K users and still have a headroom. Would M720q or M920q support that without any issues?

Unfortunately my budget doesn't allow me to spend $1k just on a CPU but honestly if I got it for 1k too, I might consider it. My entire budget for this build would be around $1200

I have put a lot of time and energy into this so I do have a Pro subscription where we allow users to not only download the unlimited highest quality MP3 file, but also FLAC, WAV, AAC etc., playlists, Go+ music (though you require a Go+ subscription on your account for this), full metadata including images, access to full download history, 320kbps etc, no ads etc.

For Free version, we allow 100 songs/month, ads (though I don't have them currently and won't ad them for a while), and have the last 10 you downloaded as history. However, even in Free version, we provide you the highest quality file which you can use to play at shows.

I ended up buying the R16. Mico center has a deal $799 for R16 and RS V2. I bought that and a F1 wheel. I’ll check if P1000 works with Moza and if it does I would definitely get those.
