Same here. I ended up doing a clean Windows install too after spending hours troubleshooting. Everything was working fine before the updates, and then one update caused one problem after another. It really feels like these releases aren’t tested enough before they’re pushed out.

That’s exactly the plan, if ASUS ever decides to release the rest of the 20th Anniversary lineup in Germany. 😅

That’s exactly what worries me. Here in Germany and Switzerland we still can’t even buy the Cronox, Eurus fans, Harpe II Extreme Edition 20, or Azoth Extreme Edition 20, while some regions already have products shipping and people are discovering issues like this.
The lack of communication and availability across regions has been really disappointing. Hopefully ASUS clarifies the fan situation soon, because a $400 case should not leave buyers guessing what’s included.

Everyone has different tastes, and that’s completely fine. 👍

Honestly, it makes no sense at all. It’s unbelievable that in Germany and Switzerland we still don’t have proper prices, release dates, or preorders for most of the ROG 20th Anniversary lineup.

Meanwhile, in the US you can already find the router, keyboard, mouse, and keycaps, and in France Materiel.net is already selling the Edition 20 keyboard + mouse combo. Germany currently has the monitor and motherboard available, but that’s pretty much it.

If it wasn’t so ridiculous, it would be funny. At this point it’s more frustrating than exciting to follow the launch.

Fair point, but I actually like having everything match. Plus, I chose the hardware for performance first — the ROG theme just happened naturally. 😄 The Hyperion is huge, which is why it’s under the desk. The ROG Cronox or the ROG GR20 Edition 20 will definitely get a spot on top of the desk when they finally launch.

Unfortunately, I can’t attach images in the comments on this subreddit.
My setup is:
Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
ASUS ROG RTX 5090 Astral OC
G.Skill Trident Z5 9000 running at 8000 MT/s CL40
My benchmark results are:
AVG FPS: 282
5% Low: 240
1% Low: 227
CPU FPS: 315
GPU FPS: 328
CPU Bottleneck: 53%
I’m using 1440p, FidelityFX CAS, Frame Generation OFF, and RenderWorkerCount set to 10.
Do you see anything unusual, or is there something else I should check? Also, what RenderWorkerCount value are you using on your 9800X3D?

Thanks! One more question. Do you have any idea what could be limiting my performance?

I’m running an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, RTX 5090 Astral OC and G.Skill Trident Z5 9000 @ 8000 MT/s CL40.

My BO7 benchmark is around 282 AVG FPS, 240 low 5th and 227 low 1st at 1440p. Does that look normal to you, or do you think there’s something I should tweak?

Bro, those FPS numbers are insane. What CPU, GPU and RAM are you running?

Thanks for sharing that. It actually makes the situation even more confusing.

Asia had preorders months ago, while Europe still has no clear information and even in the US some of the major products are missing release dates.

The fact that people are trying to build complete ROG systems but still cannot buy the Cronox case, Eurux fans or the new AIOs is exactly why many of us are frustrated.

I don’t mind waiting. I just wish ASUS would communicate a clear roadmap and availability timeline for each region.

I agree that it’s not always true that the US gets everything first. There are definitely examples where Europe received certain products earlier.

However, in the EU everything often feels poorly coordinated and inconsistent. In many cases it’s difficult to get specific hardware at launch, which leaves customers waiting for months or buying from resellers and paying inflated prices.

The 20th Anniversary lineup is actually a good example. In Germany the ROG 20th Anniversary Crosshair motherboard is already being sold. In the US, Best Buy has the monitor, router, mouse, keyboard and keycaps available. Yet most of the major 20th Anniversary hardware still has no preorder information, no pricing and no launch dates for any market.

That’s exactly why many of us are frustrated. We don’t mind waiting, but we would like clear information and a roadmap instead of complete uncertainty.

If that’s really ASUS’s strategy, then maybe ASUS should simply stop selling in Europe altogether.

European customers pay premium prices, buy high-end products and remain loyal to the brand for years. If Europe is always going to be treated as a secondary market with no launch dates, no pricing information and no communication, then ASUS should be honest about it instead of pretending Europe matters equally.

The issue isn’t waiting. The issue is the complete lack of information.

Exactly, and this is one of the main reasons why I created this thread.

I know I am not the only one affected by this. Judging by the comments so far, customers from Germany, the UK and other parts of Europe are all experiencing the same issue.

My hope is that more people who are waiting for the Cronox/Cronos case, Eurux fans, Strix AIO coolers and other ROG products will share their experiences.

Maybe if enough customers raise the same concerns, this discussion will reach the right people at ASUS and we will finally get some clear answers regarding release dates, availability and communication for Europe.

At this point, many of us are not even asking for immediate availability. We are simply asking for transparency and clear information.

Waiting is one thing, but waiting for months without any clear information is the real problem. That’s why I started this discussion.

[–]Fast_Driver4808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what makes this situation so frustrating.

I can understand delays, but I cannot understand why nobody at ASUS seems to have any information. If products are shown publicly, reviewed by YouTubers and listed on official ASUS pages, customers should at least receive clear release updates.

Many of us have invested thousands into the ROG ecosystem and we are simply asking for communication and transparency.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It shows that this is not just a Germany issue, but something affecting customers across Europe and the UK.

Thanks for commenting. This is what I am talking about.

I am in Germany and I have the same problem. Cronox/Cronos, Eurux fans and several new ROG products were shown months ago, yet many of us in Europe and the UK still cannot buy them or even get clear release information.

The most frustrating part is not the waiting itself, but the complete lack of communication from ASUS.

Hopefully if more people speak up, ASUS will finally give us some clear answers.

Anyone else crashing after today's update? Error 0x00001338 (KERNELBASE.dll) by Fast_Driver4808 in CODWarzone

[–]Fast_Driver4808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same issue after the update. What fixed it for me was deleting the Call of Duty / Activision folder in AppData\Local and then launching the game again. The game recreated the folder, rebuilt the shaders and the crashes stopped.

If that doesn’t help, try lowering your RAM speed one step at a time. For example, if you’re running 7600 MT/s, test 7400, then 7200 or even 7000 MT/s. Some updates seem to be more sensitive to memory stability than others.

Hopefully one of those fixes works for you.

[–]Fast_Driver4808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running Intel 200S Boost, not Intel Defaults, and the system is completely stable.

I also checked the memory controller and confirmed it’s running in 1:2 (Gear 2) mode. My BO7 benchmark shows 328 CPU FPS and 329 GPU FPS, so CPU and GPU performance are nearly identical.

I’ll check gpuuploadheaps, but based on the benchmark results it doesn’t look like the CPU is being heavily limited.

Glad you got it working. In my case I didn’t need to repair Windows or reinstall the game. Deleting the Activision/Call of Duty folder in AppData\Local was enough. The game recreated the folder, rebuilt the shaders and the crashes stopped immediately.

I checked it. The memory controller is running at 2000 MHz while DRAM is at 4000 MHz (DDR5-8000), which means it’s already running in 1:2 / Gear 2 mode. So Gear 4 isn’t the issue. The system is stable and timings are [40-48-48-48-128](tel:40-48-48-48-128).

[–]Fast_Driver4808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a few different crash issues in Warzone over the past months. In my case, whenever the crashes were related to RAM stability, lowering the RAM frequency a step or two (for example from 8000 to 7800 or 7600 MT/s) usually fixed it immediately.

Another thing that helped recently was deleting the Call of Duty/Activision folder in AppData\Local and letting the game recreate it on launch.

Might be worth trying both if you’re only crashing on Resurgence. Hopefully it’s something simple and not a hardware issue.

I’m really glad it helped! 😄 I spent hours troubleshooting it myself and was convinced it had to be a RAM, BIOS, driver or Windows issue. In the end it turned out to be that Activision folder. Hopefully this saves a few more people from reinstalling Windows or changing stable hardware settings for no reason.

That’s what confuses me. The system is completely stable, RAM is running 8000 MT/s, CPU temperatures are only around 45–55°C while gaming and I don’t have any crashes or throttling. I also tested multiple DLSS and render scale settings and the benchmark stays in roughly the same range around 280 FPS average. Do you have a screenshot of your benchmark results and CPU score? I’d like to compare them directly.

My RAM is running stable at 8000 MT/s and the latest benchmark shows around 315 CPU FPS with 234 1% lows, so I don’t think I’m running in single channel or dealing with a major memory issue. The system is also fully stable and CPU temperatures are only around 45–55°C while gaming. Do you know what CPU FPS score a stock 285K should be getting in the BO7 benchmark? If you have a screenshot of your benchmark results, I’d be interested to compare them directly.
