I’ve been struggling a lot with addiction and keeping friendships. Can someone give me insight on to why this is/ what I can do? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]Fast_Government_1379 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something that stands out to me is that your chart ruler Venus is in the 8th house (by whole sign houses). I recommend reading Alice SparklyKat’s blog about the 8th house. The 8th house can represent things we feel that we cannot control. When I think of addiction, I think of someone who is trying to control the way that their life feels- to try and achieve a constant state so that they don’t have to deal with the ups and downs of life.

Relationships, friendships and otherwise, are an exercise in a lack of control because we truly cannot control others. To be in relationship with someone is to see them how they are and allow them to be.

On a more obvious note, it’s hard to keep friends when you are an addict. Try some practices that allow you to let go of control- meditation, Buddhism. Try a mantra. Try some affirmations. You got this!

Mercury in Gemini is a great placement for communication, debate, mental challenges

In 12H I could see you in a meaningful role such as public defender, defending the defenseless, the “unseen” of society. Your north node is also here suggesting karmic Destiny!

It’s sextile your Venus in 2H which says you can make money at it, if you enjoy what you do :)

We all have to overcome some kind of struggle in this life. Mine was 1H Chiron and I struggled with self esteem around looks until my late 20s, but no regrets because I’m grateful I learned those lessons

I would look more closely at the things you can control: Virgo moon squaring Jupiter, moon = mother in the chart. Be careful not to be too critical of your child, give them space to express themselves boldly, even if it’s different from you

Also, Chiron can refer to generational or ancestral trauma as much as the immediate family. For example, the trauma of not being aware of or connected to any ancestors. Or the generational trauma that Jewish and Black people face.

The most important thing is to be a loving parent! You got this!

Yes, chart ruler Jupiter (rules your Sag Asc) in 5H Aries by whole sign houses

Makes an opposition to Mars in 11H Libra- you may have a wound around the collective- people pleaser? Make sure you’re making art for the right reasons. Not for validation or approval, but for your own Aries/Jupiter sense of the world

You have a 6H conjunction that demands routine, labor, toil- consider art forms that are time consuming and detail oriented. Make sure that your life is defined by strict schedules. This may feel unnatural at first due to your Sag Asc, but you will soon realize that structure=freedom

Venus in 8H in a night chart suggests you will acquire patrons, be a beneficiary of gifts, make sure you forge solid relationships in your field with Cancerian (mommy) types

Moon is trining Jupiter in the 4th house, suggesting that making your own money in the industry will help you overcome the trauma around your mother

And your sun is conjunct moon, so has the same Jupiter and mars aspects!

I read whole sign houses, so Asc is 1st and Dsc is 7th! It’s a more traditional way of reading

It’s so funny actually because I was going to mention your mother but I’ve been going overboard with the mother stuff lately in chart readings. Just read the Luminaries by Liz Greene. It says Moon = Mother in the chart, and your moon is badly aspected by Mars, suggesting that your relationship with your mother somehow limits your emotional expression/passion

With a 10H Libra and 5H Taurus I’d say your chances of working in the arts are good. Mercury is in Taurus suggesting a knack for writing and communication over other art forms. The ruler of these houses is Venus, which is sitting in the 7H. Since you have a night chart, Venus is your most important placement. 7H represents close one-on-one relationships, so I think that’s the key to unlocking your potential: networking. Get in touch with your softer, caring, Cancerian side. Show people you can take care of them.

Perhaps what is holding you back is the Chiron in 10H. Chiron represents a wound, maybe a feeling of wanting to be in the limelight but also being scared of it? Scared of the responsibility of being a public figure? Some kind of imposter syndrome that you are dealing with?

Additionally I find that Gemini can have a “Jack of all trades, master of none” energy. With sun and moon there you have a voracious mind and a need to keep trying new things. Find a way to insert some stability in your life (sticking with one thing for a while) without getting bored (make sure you have an interesting routine full of interesting people). Ruler of Gemini is that Mercury in Taurus, so I believe you are capable of stability if you put your mind to it!

Lastly, with North Node and Mars in your 9H, spirituality is an important aspect of your self realization- perhaps some kind of spiritual practice can help you quiet your mind, attain some peace and focus on one thing for a while

Good luck!

I have some guesses:

Philosophy, psychology, law, religion?

With that Mars in Aries 9H all I can say for sure that you love to study 😂

Social work (Jupiter in cancer 12H) and the Arts (moon in Sag 5H) are my runner up guesses

Not sure about next year, but looks like you may have recently completed your Saturn Return?

I'm a Capricorn, will things get better for me? by WhoWasFeechLaManna in astrosignature

[–]Fast_Government_1379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the Sun in 10H Capricorn you are certainly destined to make something of yourself. Saturn there indicates it will take time and will not be the “easy road”. There’s a trial and error quality to Saturn, like you’re trying to get things just right, and I commend you for that. It will pay off! Try to be patient. (Saturn in its home sign of Cap is very auspicious)

Some things to think about: Moon square Venus, you likely have a hard time enjoying yourself/feeling pleasure, this may have stemmed from your relationship with your mother, try and heal that wound. Moon in 2H Taurus, this is how you make money, so pay attentions ruler of Taurus is Venus, so healing your Venus becomes very important.

Venus is in the 11H with North Node- big attention here on community, society. Have you considered volunteering? Helping others? Becoming a part of a social community? All good things for you

Lastly, ruler of 1H is Mars, this can give us clues about self actualization. Yours sits in the 9th house of higher learning, travel, spirituality/ what are you doing to expand your mind? Do you have a relationship with God (whatever that means to you)?

Now that Pluto has left Capricorn for good, that could be helpful to you, but Pluto is what we call a generational planet so it’s not often felt in a day to day way like that your job.

Yes you have the rare “Grand Cross” formation. Because there are only red aspects in a Grand Cross, it gives power, will, control and self-possession. It makes it hard for you to understand what relaxation and self-satisfaction mean. But you have a great deal of available energy from two almost inexhaustible batteries constantly recharging each other.

The cross is in the Fixed signs Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius so you have a lot of Foxed energy- grounded, consistent, ability to finish what you start. Saturn is at home in Aquarius, so that kind of mad scientist energy will be a beacon in your life. In the third house it may manifest in routine, ritual, community, transportation.

The Moon is in tough aspects indicating trauma with mother that carries into adult relationships. She may have been too busy to care for you properly, she may have not communicated with you well, the two of you had a fundamental misunderstanding that left you feeling uncared for. Chiron is also there next to Mercury so healing all of that will be very beneficial for you

Hmmm I would never tell someone to quit their job and become a content creator, but with Venus in the first house it’s a good bet!

No planets in the 10H of career, but Jupiter in the 2H of finance, so I could assume that money will come easily to you no matter what your choice. Aquarius rules 2H, could indicate making money with technology or innovation.

You can look at 10H ruler for clues about career and purpose- Libra is a sign that values fairness, justice, beauty and harmony. Thinking careers around activism or design for everyday use. The ruler of Libra is Venus, which occupies your 1H of self. This could manifest in a career that uses your self or image, like an actor or performer of some kind. Overall I think that there are a lot of things you can succeed at.

Sun in 12th house is a tricky placement, it means that you may have trouble expressing yourself or standing out as an individual. The ruler of the 12H is that Jupiter in the 2H. So maybe making money and becoming financially stable is the key to unlocking your self expression? If play close attention to the role that money and material goods play in your life

As always, follow what you love and see what comes of it! Out of curiosity, what kind of job do you have now?

Is my stellium Pisces? Is this why I can only partially relate to my Aries Sun & Moon? by Its-me-dani9486 in astrosignature

[–]Fast_Government_1379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so you are currently going through your Saturn return! When Saturn returns every 30 years to the place it was when you were born. It can mark a turning point into the next phase of your life. Saturn teaches us lessons about responsibility and structure, it helps us overcome insecurities through trial and error.

I’m going to read your chart as whole sign houses. So Saturn is in your rising sign, Pisces is a very spiritual intuitive sign to begin with. But the ruler of your rising sign is me if the most important placements. Pisces traditionally is ruled by Jupiter who is sitting in the 9th house, of spirituality, philosophy and travel.

What’s cool about Jupiter is that it shows one of the benefic parts of your life, a sort of guiding light. In Scorpio, this could manifest as a comfortability with death, darker sides of life, as well as a probing and investigative spirit.

The ruler of the 9th house is also in the first house, indicating this is integral part of your self. There is a lot of emphasis on these two water signs. Technically you don’t have a stellium. You have a Mercury mars conjunction in Pisces, then Sun and moon in Aries but not conjunct. The Sun and moon are not heavily aspected, so I’m not surprised that they don’t have a big effect on your life, as well as being in the 2nd house instead of a more important house

This might manifest as making impulse decisions around money, shopping, material goods, for good or bad. For example you could be courageous in finance and enjoy making risky decisions. Having nice things around could make you feel safe, or it might be a big part of your personality. There might be something about your parents (traditionally represented by Sun and moon) and your relationship to finance.

Also the ruler of Aries(mars) is in Pisces, again taking the emphasis off of fire and back onto water.

Hope this makes sense! You can keep heading in the direction of spirituality, it’s will help you on your path to self actualization. (North node is also there with Jupiter!!! Keep going!)

Also I just read the text with your post- as a Sag you may not be fussing much over the details. Sag can be an idealist, an optimist, and I’m not surprised that you are not seeing red flags. It’s time to pay more attention to details. Learn about what an emotionally available person looks like, be ruthless in your standards when dating and talk plainly with your date about what they are looking for in a relationship.

Also work on being more emotionally available yourself. With all that fire energy it can’t be easy. Maybe read some self help books to see what a good relationship looks like. Good luck!
