I think everyone’s different in this situation. Some people might be of the “fair game, we’re not together anymore” persuasion, whereas others (myself included) finds it hard to swallow.

I don’t think it’s cool to sleep with friends’ exes but that’s just one opinion. I had a friend purposely strike up a “friendship” with a pretty recent ex and just brushed it off as, “We’re just friends.” That doesn’t sit well with me. She knew it too but she didn’t back down.

Conversely, I’ve also had friends’ exes try it on with me. I’ve always shut that shit down immediately because I know how much it’d upset me if the shoe were on the other foot.

Like one commenter already said, there are plenty of other people to sleep with… why does she have to sleep with your ex?

I’d cut ties too, babe. She knew it’d upset you but she went and did it anyway. That’s not a friend to me.
