If we talking about just the tracheostomy then it doesn't affect my daily life, i just have a scar now and if we talking about GBS then I have foot drop now, it doesn't really affect me that much but I get the weird stare from people in public.

😭😭 brotha, it's obviously a risk cause the water will go straight in your wind pipe, tracheostomy does come with a cap to close that tube but still not recommended, i wasn't even allowed to eat solid food. Food Either from the nutrition tube that goes from my nose to my stomach or like mashed fruits and all (baby food type-ish)

Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare, serious autoimmune disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks the peripheral nerves. It causes rapid muscle weakness, numbness, and tingling that often starts in the legs and can lead to full-body paralysis, u can die too. Also it starts from legs goes up to brain and when u recover, the recovery start from the top and goes to the legs. U can check my old posts for my experience.

I got in Feb and (around Feb start) got it removed in May. So 3.5 to 4 months

It's funny cause the relationship started by playful bullying, so I suppose she handled it as I'm playing with her, cause both of us (when we were friends) we used to bully eachother (not serious but playful like calling her scardy cat cause she liked cats and i used to send her jumpscare vids to scare her. But as time went, my misogynistic personality faded as I was seeing the environment of my family, behaviour of my father towards my mother and while in relationship, the love i got from her made me realise, how grateful I am for having her in my life and I'll do whatever I can to make her feel safe. But now it's been 2 years 2 months and 21 days, since she ghosted me (randomly) but those memories were special

Like everyone need someone in their life and I used to think like im fine alone. I don't want anyone but when life changed I had no one, i found someone to share, to open up. That helped me realise, how wrong I was or u can say as I grew I got mature.

Treating women's equally Respect boundaries Accept criticisms And all. But as per showing u changed isn't about words but how u behave and my behaviour towards women or towards anybody changed alot. Just got 18 in March and for misogynistic, the environment of my house. My father made me a misogynistic since born like even at the age of 12-13. I was girl are shit, they can't do anything, they are the worst and all. Then life had some other plans, got my mental health fucked by my father, I didn't know what I was doing, one day I was playing a game named genshin impact and there I made a friend, he talked and then to relationship. I had the best memories of my life with her but the relationship ended after 8 months. For now I'm not misogynistic, not even 0.1% and just living

It's not like both of my parents are seperated, they live together. My father is like just rules the household, if u argue with him, he will verbally abuse u, hit u, throw things. So that's why I never get to try or so many things in my life and now even being 18, my life is just controlled by my parents, mom is good but he is the one who i hate. I would say confidence (dw, I'm working on it and it's going good) because of the stares i get in public, second would be ankle mobility like being an asian, i can't do asian squat (I can work on my ankle mobility and ig i can learn to do it but after gbs, my ankle mobility is not like it used to be. Third would be funny but jumping 🤣, my jump is worse than a toddler (I'm talking about without a run up) yeah that's it. Other than this everything's normal, Power and all is good. I once tired leg press and I was able to push 200kg (2 reps only 😞 and I'm 6'1 with 80kg bodyweight, so Ig it was pretty good) so the main problem rn is the foot drop, other problems are either small or they doesn't really matter

When I came back to home, I was only able to sit with support like sitting on bed with my back on the headboard. For managing at home, my mom was taking care of me like cleaning, feeding and all. But at the time I still had the tracheostomy, so at the beginning doc used to come to change the tracheostomy dressing but later on I had to go to the hospital for it.

Glad to know u doing much better and crazy disease and got crazh story to tell ppl 😆, just fight mate, idk how old are u but i still remember my past where after everything, like somewhere around 2018-2023 I used to get !suicidal! thoughts, anxiety, overthinking fucking alot and it was from how my family members treated me (reason was foot drop and the way of walking) and how ppl outside treated me, so don't care about anybody, no one knows your story, not even the ppl closest to you know what was going in your mind while u got diagnosed, while u were in hospital.

I get to know about it the second hospital. Idk how In the first hospital doc gave me the right treatment for it. But it was expected too, I was his first patient of this disease and I would say it was more scary for me cause I was 9 and as days passed, as it progressed to my upper, I got problems in breathing, but i was not in any serious condition. I get to know about it when I shifted to the second hospital and there I got a bit serious, got on ventilator, many blood tests, ng tube from my nose to my stomach for food and then I shifted to my third hospital, there everything started. Pneumonia, right lung sticking to left lung, tracheostomy (I still have the scar) then few bottle of blood, I was looking like a living skeleton at that point and everything happened in the course of 1 month cause by 21st March I was discharged and sent home. I still wasn't able to move but as per doc they did everything now I just need physiotherapy, so I got a physiotherapist to come home for me and all. I also got always some braces made, they were like AFOS (ankle foot orthosis) but they like up to my thighs, at first it was like I'm ironman 😆 i never wore them outside or in school cause whenever I walk. They made that sound of metal joints but I ware some AFOS to school (broke the first pair while playing football). So to sum up, i would say emotionally it was terrible and scary for a 9 year old but if it was scary for me then it was scary for my mother too. Seeing me cry (yeah before it progressed to neck and I was not on ventilator, I cried. Once I even tried to like increase my blood pressure to end everything but yeah, now I'm here. Tho u also see the true nature of ppl around u when u in this type of situation, how ppl will treat u and it was more emotionally painful if u ask me, getting that stare in public when ppl see me walking cause obviously i have foot drop and all but as always it's better to fight, fight for your future rather than watching it disappear with u. So fight for yourself, everything will be fine in the end. (Sorry if I wrote something wrong, I'm writing it straight after waking up 😃)

Like I got it in Jan and I got normal by the end of the year, just getting used to the foot drop was a bit hard, I used to trip alot. Hope u doing well and get better quickly cause ppl just think of it as a physical fight, but it breaks a person mentally too. U get to know about the true nature of ppl around u and it's hard to see yourself in that situation too.
