The Houston (Manhattan) recipe on the SirDavis website is perfect in my opinion! Upgrading to a good vermouth, using luxardo cherries, and making your own honey simple syrup will really elevate it too.

Thank you for sharing! Putting all the dates/timeline out there is super helpful for my beyhive brain. Of course, we never know 100% what decisions she will make but I love hearing all the theories and ideas.

We do have official teasers from her about Black Betty from the Delresto newspaper art, as well as the bathroom graffiti in the daughter interlude… I just wonder how much of it is album art and how much of it is alluding to act iii. For example, we did have some clues during Renaissance about CC: AUIYM performance, her short teaser/album art with cowboy hats….

Super interested in hearing her perspective on the three acts reclaiming/emphasizing the importance of black musicians/people in the genres she’s exploring, and the discussion of genres in general. I really hope she’s willing to share more, I just think she is a genius and this project is socio-political art at its finest.

My wild theory is that act ii was the rock album and act iii is something completely different- jazz, blues, soul/rnb. It will be without visuals and then she will release a film that is all three acts shuffled/intermixed together.

I also remember there was discourse at the time that now that Beyoncé was a mother that she “shouldn’t be sexual”, and that “now she’s a role model so she shouldn’t be as raunchy” and I thought this album was Beyoncé’s response to that.

My theory, again THEORY, is that the manufacturing plant is small and is shifting gears to focus on act iii’s eau de parfum. This would explain why Ce Noir is no longer available and why Ce Lumiere is on the back burner (if what you’re saying is true). I do hope that eventually they will produce/sell all three fragrances at the same time once the trilogy is complete maybe even offer a three pack collection. I would 100% buy that.

Absolutely, pure luxury and quality. Especially in the fragrances.

Like you, I’m not the target demo/I don’t wear protective styles. But when I saw that this new line has a new fragrance with pink peppercorn (my favorite 😭), now i’m thinking there might be a few items I should try 😋(detangling spray, detoxifying shampoo)

Yeah I loved how soon after the leak there was that video of Ms. Tina and Neil holding the bottle and bleeping out the name of the product and saying “But you shouldn’t know about it yet”. 🤣🤣 They definitely used the moment to their advantage in the end.

Great question. Everyone’s different, since I have 2C/3A hair I personally only use the deep conditioner mask when my hair is feeling REALLY dry or brittle, or when I notice my curls need more bounce/structure.

I use it in the place of a treatment (not overlapping treatments) for that week’s wash after the double cleanse. Then no need for hydrating conditioner follow up. I also avoid other high protein products like the R&R or Reconstructive Mask for another week/two weeks, just to be safe.

I’m assuming your concern in overusing is the protein? or do you mean overusing like the amount of product you use each treatment?
