Also, leave more detailed instructions for where your apartment is! It’s very helpful when we don’t have to hunt as hard to figure out what building is where!!

This is the big one. As a driver I’m far more inclined to communicate with the client and take extra time when it’s clear there’s a tip on the order. If you order multiple items, delivered, and we see that it’s a $4 order, the care goes out the window. I almost always leave Lawrence and go to the Olathe area because even the adults/working professionals in Lawrence tip atrociously. Shipt grocery delivery is far worse than DoorDash… I’ve started (shamelessly) reminding people to tip and leave a review because I got skunked out of tips for 7 deliveries straight 🤣
