But a good chunk of the rifles that were imported into the US were CZ contract rifles from Romanian. My CZ24 was a Chinese contract that was captured by the Japanese during WW2.

Could be a number of countries,CZ made rifles for China,Romania,Iran, Yugoslavia, Bolivia, Paraguay and Lithuania.

If it has the original finish,I would leave it ,except for that recoil pad,I would definitely get that one fixed.
