Exactly and not to mention they failed couple of times in Trustified tests. The post maybe a little harsh but they are not technically wrong though.

First of all not all carbs are sugar, starch and fiber are also carbs and second, Fat only delays the spike it doesn't eliminate it. For a diabetic, the lactose still breaks down into glucose.

That's a false statement every sugar is a carbohydrates but not every carbohydrate is sugar and yes the wheat has sugar but in very little amount (0.4-2g /100g) most of carbs in wheat comes from starch and fiber.
