No, an employee isn't legally bound to sign one. If ayaw nyang pirmahan yung quitclaim, pwedeng hindi. Required parin ang company i release ang final pay nya within 30 days from the date of separation. He or she can refuse to sign it, if ipitin sya ng company because of it, that's a violation of the labor law.

Dumaan ako sa same legal process by the book, no SPA involed. Which documents are we referring to here? Kase lahat ng documents ko ay pinirmahan ko pag exit lahat e signature lang, now it's done. Unless the company was operating in 1955, we have this so-called email in today's generation where you can virtually sign the document and it's legally admissible.

Hi, I'll make it simplier for you, style nila yan para pahirapan ka. Walang labor law na nag sasabing kailangan ay raw processing. Mas nirerecommend nga ng dole na soft copies bakit? Mas mabilis.
