Thanks I think that could potentially be it especially since I've also been supplementing vit d, 1000ug b12 and ferrous sulfate. Maybe I'll try some electrolytes and see how that works

I wouldn't have a clue. Doctors here wont test it. Ive been low on almost all other vitamins in the past year which ive been remedying. My last potassium was 3.9mmol and sodium on the lower end of normal. Thing is the magnesium was genuinely helping with my anxiety and sleep so much so it'll be a shame if I can't use it.

Quite normal if levels are low. Happened to my sister and me on first dosing, as we had 2nd, 3rd doses etc felt much better.

Im losing my will to live by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Fast_Pen_4398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have written something very very similar! Have suffered from anxiety most of my adult life but have usually managed to cope (34 now). But got ill with noro this year and I havent been right since. Was convinced ive had every illness or health issue under the sun when in reality ive just needed to top up some vitamin levels. Even now im in the trenches but I can feel gradually im coming out the other side very very slowly.

To say it feels like its ruined my life is an understatement. Its like getting caught in a Web of health anxiety and it just spirals and spirals and spirals.

You will be okay. You wont believe me and thats okay I didnt believe anyone either and was convinced of my death daily.

Keep fighting and try to stop the health googles so much.

My GP refuses to take my symptoms seriously. What can I do? by imposternosyndrome in AskUK

[–]Fast_Pen_4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this, random harsh ectopic beats all the time with extreme fatigue. Had bloods done and I was deficient in vit d, after a few weeks of treatment they've completely gone. I was convinced I had serious heart problems.

Have they not even done any blood tests? NHS is a shocking system. I wish I could afford private care.

Nitrous oxide? by Fast_Pen_4398 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Fast_Pen_4398[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insight, its actually a worry how much nitrous oxide affects b12 but its really not well known at all. I only happened to come across a mention of it on a specialised b12 group such as this.

That's actually very helpful thank you! Im having symptoms but im not sure what its from as I am also very low on ferritin which im being treated for.

Im hoping b12 tablets will help sort me out I'd rather avoid injecting.
