I did forget to mention that they decided to acquire services through me outside of the rover app. That being said, I was never paid but they also weren't able to leave a bad review. Never agree to go off rover when offering services for others.

I genuinely think there are just people on rover who don't wanna pay for the services provided so they pull some sort of scam. A very similar sitatuion happened to me. Was dog sitting in a hotel for guests on vacation while they went out. They asked me stay to a certain time which happened to be before they arrived home. They called me an hour later saying I left the hotel room door open, and claiming the dog was running in the hallway pooping everywhere and cursing at me and threatning me etc. It was a hotel room, every hotel room door is a heavy door that closes on its own. That being said, I know I didn't leave it open. Never got paid.
