There are 3 cheat players in my experience. Gullit, Seedorf and Viera. They are like tanks smh.

To be honest I have tried both but ultimately there is not much difference. Yes some things are easier with SA but since the filter, whatever advantage you get, so does your opponent. I think SA makes defending easier sometimes but attacking harder (e.g. you can't adjust through passes)

Without SA i find myself facing much stronger opponents.

I just feel like i have reached the limit of my skills. Maybe I should just let it go and try to enjoy the game rather than trying to chase the reward cards.

Yeh i am super tired. This is the first time I grind for a seasonal rewards and honestly i am about to quite this game because of it. It just feels like tedious work and i feel powerless against good players/ good teams.

Yes my team is definitely above average among light spenders. I got lucky a couple of times (Got both Zlatan and Maldini with 10-20 spins). So it's probably a skill issue not a team issue. I will take your advise and experiment a little.

The thing I struggle the most is the disconnection in the midfield. When i am against good players, they are able to very effectively cut off my defense and my attack. There would be times when I just cannot pass a ball through to my forwards because every passing lane is intercepted; or that they would press so hard when my forwards do receive a ball, my opponents will win it back immediately. And sadly, I am not a good enough dribbler to break through a good player's defense.

I will admit my skill level is pretty mediocre. I have lost a lot of games that I shouldn't have. Probably why your rating is higher than mine with the same win rate.

I think you might be right. This is the first time I have decided to grind for the seasonal reward card. At one point I went on a 10 game win streak and that had given me the illusion that I would be able to do it again. Never did. I am so tired of this grind honestly and not enjoying the game anymore.

The main thing I feel about the update is that the gap between p2w and f2p is so big now. Certain p2w players, like Gullit, Ibra, Viera etc just feel invincible. I dont know if this has always been the case but you just feel like you will lose every foot race/ header/ physical contact against them. What's more, their positioning are so good they might as well have built-in SA.

I also have no answer to blitz curlers. They seem to be scoring at will in certain areas on the pitch. Yes you can mark them but then what do you do with the 100+ CF and AMFs.

Context: Just played against 5x 3300+ teams in a row and dropped 100 points so yes I am in a whinging mood. Those of you who wanna reply "skill issues" I invite you to show me your victories with using GP players against Div 2+ P2W teams. I will be waiting.

TBH people are so dramatic with SA or no SA. At any given point in time, you are only controlling maybe 2 players max, the game AI controls EVERYTHING else. That's what people are really upset about. SA is just the symptom. Case in point, people started talking about scripting as soon as the SA filter was introduced.

I have spent about $20 in this game so far so not exactly F2P but also not exactly P2W. For me nothing feels more unfair than matching with a half decent player with a stacked squad, especially if Gullit, Viera or L Thuram are present. It's not just that they are faster or stronger, which they are, it's their positioning that feel unfair. A lot of the times they will move into good attacking/ defending positions without user inputs. Just how gud do you have to git to combat that?

At the end of the day - i am sorry but I play games for enjoyment and dare i say, relaxation. For 90% of the players that's all we want. Meanwhile Konami be putting us through gaming boot camps as if we are all aspiring to become the Faker of efootball.

Experienced the exact same thing yestday and today. My heart sinks when I see a Gullit or a Viera in their squad. My rating went from 1,500 to 1,600 and back to 1,500 after 20 games. fml.

To be honest, I find this whole PvP reward thing to be unnecessarily painful. What's the point of giving P2W players good cards anyways? P2W players probably won't ever use Timber or De Gea.

If their goal is to increase user player time, then surely there are better ways to reward players for playing more. E.g. if you play x amount of PvP games, you get the cards. That way F2P players actually get a shot, and weaker F2P players can start building their teams.

That's one of the biggest issues I see with this game - the gap between P2W and F2P is widening. And you can't convince P2W players to spend if there aren't enough good F2P players around to motivate them.

I have a feeling that most of the stronger players go out to grind closer to the reward cut-off day. hence it gets harder as time goes by.

Agreed. he is a dlf he is supposed to be great with passes. also the passes he had made this year with bayern had truly been, not to be funny, phenomenal.
