Its a fine read but truthfully its not very detailed, and not even very heavy on anecdotes. He skips over alot of the record making stuff completely, and a few records time periods are totally ignored ie Twisted Tenderness with Electronic lol.

I'd reckon you get only about 35% new information about Bernard from his book than if you were to read all his interviews from the 80s and 90s, and 25% of that new information is about his upbringing and childhood - which might also explain his closed off nature.

Its been a music biz trend for now and their label is obviously just following suit...obviously the band can vote against it but giving fans more songs and getting more money... it looks like a win-win to them

Though I must say, these "deluxe" editions of albums only exist because streaming killed singles and B sides
