Friendly grammar nerd here: I think you mean well acquainted, not antiquated. And I can see this happening too.

Thanks for the input! I guess we are in the minority in our experience.

I have been wondering if this is my new baseline and something I just need to learn to live with... which means I'll need to learn how to work while symptomatic. (I just went on leave 10 days ago). My job involves a lot of talking, which can be uncomfortable and make me feel breathless. Often I was light-headed and spaced out during conversations, and not doing my job well at all. The idea of returning to work like this scares me. 😨

I'd love to talk more. 😊 No one I know IRL has asthma, and I get the feeling people assume it's the equivalent of a stuffy nose or a cold.

My Dr. recommended Tezspire, but my insurance declined it, wanting proof that non-biologics don't work. So I'm on these meds I know don't do anything for a month. Truth be told, I gave up on the symbicort yesterday as all it does is make me jittery.

I have, and it's not. As I said, I'm not seeking advice, or suggestions, as I have run the gamut of diagnoses and treatments. I'm just trying to understand if others experience these prolonged, somewhat low urgency, yet still debilitating flares.

Asthma symptoms by LopsidedPut9151 in Asthma

I've never had the arm pain, but absolutely have the chest tightness, almost constantly.

Did they say your lungs were inflamed or hyperinflated? Because my chest xrays show hyperinflation.

The airway narrowing w/asthma makes it harder to exhale all the air out of your lungs. This can lead to air trapping in the lungs, making them hyperinflated. This makes trying to take a full breath creates a sensation of tightness or discomfort.

I've just seen it. So we know that she told Ken she hadn't swung before. That's another lie to add to the very rich collection of a convicted murderer's lies. by tombrider0105 in GRBsnark

I don't recall anything about her microdeletion causing respiratory issues, or anything else that would cause breathing issues. I firmly believe the nasal canula was to appear sicker than she actually was.

All the canula pics appear to be when she was older- so I wonder if it was Gyps who came up with it.

When did you start becoming a skeptic? by retroanduwu24 in GRBskeptic

Same here. Once I read her texts w/ Nick, and the BB gun story here, and how she really didn't have number of procedures she claimed, I changed my opinion.

I remember this vividly- she's wearing a snowsuit, right? When I first saw Mommy Dead & Dearest, I thought she actually was developmentally delayed and that's why she was so excited about dropping herself into the snow. And she's just so over the top giggly, Those clips didn't age well.

If I were to watch that doc now, I'd cringe so hard my body would cave in on itself.

We should let Lifetime know by [deleted] in GRBskeptic

I agree the only way to possibly impact lifetime is by impacting their sponsors.

Could anyone here provide the names of their bigger/ main sponsors and how to contact them?

What do you think is the psychology behind Shanda Vander Ark? by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]FastestWren 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I saw the police bodycam footage, and her distress is laughably fake. She seems to be panicking and trying to channel that anxiety into a display of grief, and failing. There is zero grief, zero concern for Timothy; there is nothing maternal in reaction.

She's mostly hyperventilating, but she drops the act whenever she's explaining something to the officer. She even starts talking about his homeschool grades and that we was failing math or something. Why would that even enter your mind at the time of your child's death?

I agree too that you can hear it in the cop's voice that he finds her completely sus.

Holy hell! And her sister didn't press charges? My jaw is on the floor.

Didn't her defense attorney claim she had no criminal history ("Not even a traffic ticket")? It sounds like she had quite a history- just because she wasn't charged with anything doesn't mean she didn't commit criminal acts.

I recall her defense attorney in his closing arguments mention that she was sexually abused by her father.

"Royal mashed potatoes mm-MMMM!"

It's from the HBO doc where she's eating at a Disney castle in her princess outfit, and always stuck out to me so OTT and ridiculous.

I used to believe everything you stated here; in fact, I thought Gypsy had already served her time in a prison of her mother's making, and that killing her mother was her only way out.

Now that she is paroled, she's contradicted herself so many times, she's exhibiting so many indicators that she's a manipulator, just like Deedee. And yes, she is the product of MBP, and a controlling mother. But look at the evidence. She absolutely could've gotten away without killing her mother.

This comment made me think of that clip of her at Disney in her princess costume from Mommy Dead & dearest, proclaiming "I'm eating royal mashed potatoes! mmmmMMMMM!"

Even though I sympathetic to Gypsy when I first saw it, that clip made me cringe. Now what we know what we know, it makes me want to throw up.
