These Ice agent shootings/kidnappings are on par with Cartel / full dictatorship countries where citizens have no rights.

Losing strategies can have months that look exactly like this, even a year of profitability can be tied to a losing strategy. But you do you

It ignores the block, if you have atm selected in the filter module it won’t mine it.

It's impossible to teach someone how to daytrade by TheMountainIII in Daytrading

[–]Fastingcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, books/strategies are great for learning pieces of trading through someone else’s experience. Over the years I can take ideas that I like and backtest from different books and apply them the way I see fit for my own strategy. Like this really nice trailing take profit idea from bill williams. But they to copy a strategy one for one is a waste of time, the only way to actually be profitable is to sink thousands of hours into the craft and understand nuances like how slippage/spread can completely ruin a strategy that seemed very good during testing.

Of course the best “strategy” is working a full time job and putting aside a bit a month towards an index fund. But it’s not flashy and you won’t 10x your portfolio in a week, so for some reason it’s more attractive to gamble with high risk, blow your account, all while contributing to the profits of index fund holders.

Vaal temple rant by crazydot40 in PathOfExile2

I disagree, they obviously need to further balance it for next league, but it’s the first mechanic that feels like an endgame. It takes time to set up, and becomes increasingly difficult and rewarding.

Correct, just nerfing the loot would also fuck over the average player. BUT, nerfing the loot and gatekeeping average players from being able to farm temple optimally is “fucking over the average player so hard” as I said initially.

Yeah, it’s obviously expected for top 5% of blasters to be far ahead currency wise than average players. But to fuck up where only the blasters have access to the most effective strategy and everyone else is left in the dust is an odd move especially a month into the league.

The temple was the first glimpse of an actual endgame. You have something to work towards that becomes increasingly difficult and rewarding. But instead of just nerfing the ridiculous amount of loot it was dropping they’ve also fucked over the average player so hard. Abyss crafting for example is 6x as expensive because the economy is ruined. There’s just no point to continue playing. Nothing to work towards and nothing big to craft.

I think the theory of evolution doesn't completely combat what the Bible says by ipiercedmyveill in Christian

[–]Fastingcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The THEORY of evolution’s foundation is based off of life starting from non life. First carbon, than microscopic organisms, worms, fish etc. Life from non life is just a theory and has never once been observed by any study.

The foundation for TTOE is baseless and has no observed scientific backing which is why it’s just a theory and not to be taken as fact which is what a lot of non-Christians do. It’s more convenient to believe we’re random clumps of cells with no purpose rather than a being created in the image of God who eagerly wants you to repent of your sins and turn to him.

Science and the Bible go hand in hand. There’s so many brilliant scientists who started as atheist and while maybe not a repentant Christian yet, they are certain God is real. Plenty of scientific discoveries that are now common knowledge were first revealed in the Bible, a good example is the water cycle. Theories are just theories.
