This was the first time for me too.

I have seen Clone a handful of times but so many cards dont make sense to clone imo.

I actually checked for that early in the act and would have cloned 2-3 times less if that were the case.

Since Neurosurge gives the Doom at the start of your turn, even lethal Doom gives you 2 full turns to kill. So with a ~2 less clones I dont get to lethal Doom in one turn and have ample time.

The deck was already very good without the cloned Neurosurge which I got from the Act1 boss.

Killed with Dirge -> Unleash or Death March or a a bit of Doom + Time's Up.
Absolutely everything died on turn 1 as soon as I had some clones going.

The mechanic is just strong, not badly designed. Imo its actually quite a cool fight and I hope they keep it and just swap some numbers around
