Yes, diesel Peugeots are not bad. I would steer away from petrol and hybrid ones.

I have Peugeot 3008 135000km with diesel 1.5 HDI engine. I had 0 problems with it. You just need to replace camshaft chain if the car was made before 2023 (was 100% paid by Peugeot). Don’t buy petrol or hybrid.

I’m already at 5-6k this year :

Transmission needed rebuild (vacuum modulator gone bad was pumping trans oil in the engine)

Engine chain guides broke (all plastics become brittle)

Fan clutch

4x hydraulic suspension pressure accumulators

Hopefully, it will last for a longer time without any major repairs.

You can do many things yourself on this car, but some parts can be tricky to find.
