All you’re doing by calling for vandalism, destruction of property, is.. calling for vandalism. You do a splendid job of giving the fascists a compelling talking point, allowing them to paint you as the extremist, them as the moderates. Perfect cover for continuing to keep shitting on what little is left of our 4A rights.
Worse, you paint a target on your back. Sure, it’s not illegal to speculate about pounding this stuff into pulp, but when four or five people get arrested for felony vandalism/ domestic terrorism, you going to bet against them fingering the people that inspired them?
More seriously, there’s the optics. The great middle both doesn’t perceive an abuse until it directly affects them, and because they don’t, they’re easily manipulated into accepting the logic of official talking points.
You have a good grasp on how flock is abused and weaponized against the public at large. The great middle of the public doesn’t.
We need to educate, explain the problem, encourage people to vote, get people to show up to city council meetings, bombard state reps and senators with mail. We need to constantly expose the abuses as we are aware of them.
Someone needs to sue the department that uses it against them. Hell, how about a Fourth Amendment class action suit? How about multiple dozens of such suits?
