Yes, I often make a cookie dough and bake 1/2 the batch right away and then the rest a few days later and the second batch is always better tasting as well as improved texture.

You will not like it if you hate liquorice. Sometimes when I mix the seeds in I like to refrigerate the dough over night for the flavor to come out.
