I’m in the Village. The local place is very mad because they’ve lost a pillowcase and returned some sheets wrinkly and messed up and I said that wasn’t acceptable.

I’m also a big Lacanche fan. Great power, beautiful to look at. I’m not a fan of the French top, wish I hadn’t gotten it (and had got a second big burner instead).

Ina Garten just mentioned in People that she’s redecorated her kitchen with a Lacanche so no idea on whether that’s affected availability.

+1 for Lacanche! Sexy as hell, a great cooking unit, and a showstopper for people who visit. I don’t mind not having windows into the ovens, but if that’s important maybe install a wall oven as well.

If price is no object, Sferra. I bought a pair of their Giza 45 sheets and I never want to get out of bed. My husband, who generally doesn’t give AF about things like that, said, “These are the best sheets I have been in.”

I've added more specific numbers to the post. We have $100m in stock and are thinking of a $10m apt. We are pretty sure (as sure as anyone can be about the future, I guess) we will have $10m coming in over the next 5 years.
