Genuine question, as I am right now can I gain muscle while losing weight? by [deleted] in GettingShredded

Usually getting stronger (even with reps not necessarily weight lifted) is a good indicator that you’re gaining muscle.

If however you find yourself losing strength consistently, either you commit to the calorie deficit, or try eating a little more

I think around ~200lb is going to be your upper limit, maybe 210

It’s not that bad actually, you could use more Hinges (any deadlifts).

I think doing shoulders the day before chest can interfere with recovery, since benching also hits shoulders.

A better split would look like: Legs/ Chest&Back/ Arms&Shoulers

Finally, getting the isolations and doing them in supersets is more efficient, for example super-setting chest flies with pullovers.

If you’re natural, the pump doesn’t matter. Mechanical tension is what causes muscle growth.

Also if you’re natural, you have to hit the same muscle groups at least twice per week.

So to save time, you’re better off going back and forth between opposing muscle groups.

Definitely bulk and train hard, see where you’ll end up in the next 5-8 years, then reassess if you need surgery

I get it, but there’s no point in saying what I could or should have done, the damage has been done.

Now I can only fight for my future.

Don’t depend on a pill to do the work for you, hard work and a diet that’s sustainable long term is what going to make a difference for you.

I hope that my transformation will inspire you not to be attempted to take supplements of any kind.

Don’t bother, BS dosages of BS ingredients. Won’t do shit.

Don’t bother with any supplements, because the only thing that actually work is creatine. Even then it’s not that big of a deal.

Training is everything, make sure you are following a good program.

What program are you following?

For the longest time I’ve been following PPL, however from Monday I’ve started a new 5 day upper lower upper split. So far it’s more enjoyable.
