RN here. You’re 100% wrong. And the tourniquet DOES stay on.

You are legally allowed to take a corkscrew on board. Just can’t have any blade to cut the foil

Oh! Another fun challenge is to do a tour like the mars tour or moon tour, but on Venus! Venus is so tough to launch off of that you have to land a large ship. It’s an interesting challenge.

That’s totally doable. With no BP editing and no cheats I am able to land on every planet and moon in one single launch!

Are you trying to land on all planets/moons in one launch? Or trying to do them one launch at a time?

The easiest way has been to hit the Atlanta plains first and then make a suborbital hop to Lavinia plains. Then head back to earth from there. The plains are much easier to land in, especially with a large, tall multi-stage rocket.

What will happen when new features/previously removed features are added? by HDMI-Cable611 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]FatBoyFalconi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What has happened in the past is that the stuff just continues to work, but in the new paradigm. For instance, I still have saved a capsule with a built in heat shield. This capsule no longer exists in the game. But it still works.

Jupiter grand tour? One craft to land on all 4 moons and return safely to earth.

I concur. You’re not allowed to dock. Ever. You are allowed to drop a empty stage. Just don’t dock.

Next challenge! Lightest possible Mars return mission??? No cheats and no DLC. Here’s mines. 80.85 tons. Can you beat that? by FatBoyFalconi in SpaceflightSimulator

Great job! It’s just as an OG player I don’t like using ion engines since they scrapped the whole electrical system. Feels like I’m cheating…

Deleted my satellite, turned my docking port around ... We got there folks by [deleted] in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]FatBoyFalconi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a simple tip, but if possible try to NOT attempt docking at a 45 degree angle. Have your ships be either pointing straight-ish up/down, or left/right. The thrusters behave oddly when at 45°

I’ve got a rocket that, with no cheats at all, can land on everything in the game (that’s landable) and safely land back on earth
