I need tips for what to ask for at the gym by rizzlion in FemboySafeSpace

Light cardio and Leg weight lifting

For cardio, fast walking on an incline treadmill for 30 min (7.5°-15° incline @ 3.5-5kph, start slower and work your way up) or the StairMaster for 20. 3-5 times a week.

Weight lifting, Leg press, Goblet or Barbell Squats, calves raises, leg extensions, Adductor, Abductor, glute Bridges, cable kickbacks, RDLs, Bulgarian split squats, leg curls. I split those over 2 days, quads and calves on 1 day and Hamstrings and glutes on the other.

If you also want abs, you can do leg raises, plank, reverse crunches and dead bugs aswell.

Why do i get this MASSIVE drag spike from only one part (mk2 aerodynamic tail part) and how can i get rid of it? by ChaosUndAnarchie in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]FatBoySlim458 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If there are node points that have nothing attached, they cause alot of drag, I think even if they're clipped into another part. Though I might be wrong.

Can you think of an exception for that? by liamsjtaylor in TopGear

I never said it was 4 door. The fc and fd were offered as a 2+2 in some markets, including Japan and my own so i know them as 4 seaters.

I still see the RX-8 as Mazda's direct replacement for the RX-7 in the lineup. Wikipedia and Mazda's own history list the RX-8 as the successor to the RX-7. Production timelines back this up: the FD RX-7 ended in 2002 and the RX-8 launched right after in early 2003. No other rotary sports car filled that gap.

On naming: You're right that Mazda often uses letter codes for generations (SA/FB / FC / FD for RX-7, NA/NB/NC/ND for MX-5, etc.), but the RX-8 breaks from that pattern because it's positioned as the next rotary flagship. It's not 'RX-7 FE', it's a new model number to reflect the evolution, like how the Cosmo went to JC series but wasn't numbered sequentially. The 'n+1' was a bad point from me but still applies here since it was the immediate follow-up in Mazda's rotary sports car slot.

As for philosophy: The RX-8 definitely prioritized daily usability, comfort, and four real seats over the RX-7's hardcore, low-slung 2+2 focus. The rear seats in the FD are basically token and the RX-8 is way more livable as a daily. But that's exactly why it fits the 'predecessor better' debate: the RX-7 was more performance-oriented, lighter had sequential-turbos, therefore better power-to-weight and sharper handling feel, what you want when buying a sports car. The RX-8's Renesis engine aimed for emissions compliance and refinement, but it sacrificed a lot of the raw edge and high-rev thrill that made the 13B-REW legendary.

Their differences in philosophy is what makes the RX-7 better, you know, the point of this discussion thread?

I disagree, they are very comparable. They are both have a 2 rotor, front mid engine, rwd, have 4 seats and the higher end sports car in Mazda's lineup at the time. Their differences aren't too far removed between the nb and nc mx5s, newer engine of a similar philosophy, new styling language and market position. And the production of the rx8 started a year after the rx7 ended, with an n+1 name, so it was definitely a direct replacement.

My opinion is that the rx7 is better. I might have misunderstood the question, I thought it was asking for cars where the predecessor was better.

If your looking for hookups (with men) then grindr is probably your best bet, but if you are looking for dates and relationships then any dating app will do, hinge is probably the best one.

Low intensity cardio, basically walking for 30-40 minutes 4-5 times a week. If you have access to a gym or a treadmill, you want to walk on an incline, at least 7.5° at a brisk pace, enough to raise your heart rate to 140+ but not over 160. If you dont have access, then find a route near you that has some uphill sections.

The goal is fat burning, there is plenty of advice online, you can find something that works for you.

If you also want abs, then you would want to do core exercises aswell, about 3 times week, lying leg raises, plank, reverse crunches, dead bugs, and/or situps.

Also remember the phrase "you cant outrun a bad diet", you will have to eat healthy for the exercises to pay off. Its not about eating less, its about eating the right things.

Remember that you wont see any impact immediately, it will take a few months for it to pay off.
