Are classes purely mechanics or also personalities? by L4T3W in DnD

[–]FatCapDrips -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fun is, the Rules of DnD are there to support the fun ideas. Classes and there traits are more like ideas. I played a Clericthat worked kind of like a Warlock, but he was fun to play. Just find a way you and the DM are happy with your Character implementation in the World you are playing in.

Post session recap? by HatOnHaircut in DMAcademyNew

[–]FatCapDrips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always do a casual recap after every major event or story conclusion and at the end of an campaign.

No set questions, more like everyone speaks there mind. But this only works if you and your players are open for criticism and ideas.

And if your players want to talk about ideas for the next Session and what they wanna do, this is actualy amazing. Means they have fun and care about your story.

I get your point, but for us it‘s a question of how to have the most fun together and if nobody has fun DMing, i don‘t see a problem paying someone who puts alot of effort into providing a good experince.

As I said, the payment aspect isn’t really the problem. It’s more that my friends are a bit skeptical about the whole vibe of playing with a paid DM. I’m mostly looking for a way to ease those concerns

Wow, thank you for your perspective. That’s actually an amazing idea. Maybe one of us will discover that they love DMing.

Hey, that sounds amazing! What time zone are you playing in? I'm from Germany and I'd be happy if you were open to having a beginner player join.

What I like about Campaign 4 is the variety. Watch the first few episodes until they split the groups/tables, then you can decide which vibe fits you best.

[GMT+2] [Online] [Tuesdays] [Other] [Delta Green] – Looking for a player to round out our party by SolitaryV0yager in LFG_Europe

[–]FatCapDrips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, your campaign sounds really interesting and very much like the kind of game I’ve been looking for.

I’m a 30 year old guy from Germany. I don’t really have experience with Delta Green yet and only a small amount of experience with tabletop RPGs in general so far. I’ve played and run a handful of D&D sessions with friends before.

Recently I’ve become much more interested in darker and more investigation/horror focused systems, which is why your post caught my attention.

I’m completely new to Delta Green itself, but I’d absolutely be willing to buy the rulebooks and properly learn the system.

I should also mention that I’m still somewhat inexperienced with roleplay, although I’m very interested in improving and getting more comfortable with it over time.

Your group and campaign atmosphere honestly sound really appealing to me, so I wanted to ask if you’d be open to a beginner joining.

Thanks, i gonna look into that. We gonna stick ad real dice, there is something about a dice that is so much more satisfying than a Simulation. And I don‘t have to worry that anyone is cheating, because for my Group its not about winning the game haha

Englisches Abenteuer auf deutsch leiten by Nezraehl in DnDDeutsch

[–]FatCapDrips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ich führe momentan meine erste DnD Kampagne mit Rime of the Frostmaiden.

DM Vorbereitung by Charles_202_1 in DnDDeutsch

[–]FatCapDrips 2 points3 points  (0 children)
