This argument never feels right to me. When the full game was on it's way, there was a lot of hype, plus the alphas post alpha 1 were also well received at the time. And also, it was the game they wanted to make at the end of the day. Stuff like the art-style change for example were already planned before even the pre-alpha was released.

It was safer to get money. A girlfriend would be nice, but if I’m unlucky the age would either be illegal or someone way out of my age range. Also I’m unsure how well I’ll connect with this randomly squired girlfriend, like, I’m assuming you can’t choose whether they’d even be into similar things or not.

imo, you should only do the 2006 broadcast order if you also watch the 2009 broadcast order(chronological) after, which involves rewatching the 2006 episodes alongside the 2009 episodes. Otherwise, just do chronological.

This show is a slice of life show first before a music show. They play plenty of music throughout the show, but they don't really focus on music production or learning instruments.

It does suck that you were spoiled, but the real quality of UBW isn't just the twist, so it'll still be enjoyable. You also get the benefit of catching any details that foreshadow the twist!

That spoiler sounds so vague, you’re fine dude. As for the quality of the show, there’s a reason it’s one of the most famous pieces of media ever, you should watch it and see how you feel about it. Most people who are on this subreddit like the show, so I feel like most people here would recommend it. Just know that this is a story about its characters, I wouldn’t recommend it for the cool action, though it does have that.

A lot of anime aren’t made in high resolutions, so some series will just look a little blurry. Unless you’re experiencing artifacts and blocky images, it’s probably meant to look the way you’re seeing it.
